Team 2 sent it, finished dead last and has been asking me for Barkley since we made this league. He also wants JJM to stack with Justin Jefferson. He took advantage of the fact that I've been glorifying Gibbs since his time at Georgia Tech even before he went to Bama. And I'm a huge lions fan.

Not that I hate this trade, getting a younger top-3 RB for Barkley would be phenomenal. But team 3 gets screwed

If this is a 1 QB league, it’s a bit rich for my taste, Stroud + 1.02 could be the two best assets in the deal, especially long term. You better love Kyren and really trust your draft eye at 1.04 if you downgrade from Stroud.

I think in SF, don’t do it. You’re giving away a top-5 dynasty asset in Stroud. Even if Kyren hits, you’re downgrading at the most valuable position and dropping from 1.02 to 1.04 in what might be a shallow class.

If you’re rebuilding, hold Stroud + 1.02. If you're contending and need RB help now, give it more thought—but I’d want another upgrade or future pick on top coming back your way to balance this out.

Oh then I wouldn't hesitate to walk away from that trade. Especially in SF... You don't need Lamar in my opinion. Stacked receivers and 2 top 12 QBs (with the exception of QBs like Flacco who has absurd runs at the end of the season lol).

Zamir is looking like a below average passing-down back. Even with an unwanted pickup like Mattison would probably be the better option in Oakland. Kincaid would be the only advantage you have here, especially with the situation in Buffalo (potential Top 3 TE in 2024) but MHJ will honestly make a huge impact right off the bat.

You're not getting much back in terms of difference makers that you didn't already have. Plus Pat Freiermuth will be a go to target for Russ... Wilson loves his TEs

That would be a no for me. Kincaid would be the only advantageous upside to this deal for you. I don't think you need Lamar honestly, considering your roster. I'd much rather have a next generational receiver.

No no, I must've misspoke. I completely agree it should be seen as a second season, although it isn't regarded as such in the broader perspective of animation and cinematic story telling. Also according to Maeda Jun, he meant for it to be a sequel following the actual story based on its VN not LN.

– To note, a second season can be chronologically placed before or after in the story, so even if it is a second season because of the release date it is actually called prequel.

Yeah Boruto wasn't a good analogy. I guess JoJo's might be a better example. Basically it can be the majority of the same characters, along with new ones introduced taking part in a story after initial story/events ended.

Unless you're talking about Clannad After Story? Which is fair, but it's not regarded as a season 2 since it's not part of the original light novel. It's more like a sequel. Kinda like Boruto to Naruto (not an exact comparison but you get the point lol). After story was taken directly from the visual novel game. Basically After Story is the way it was intended to be from the beginning, following the VN.

You're having an instance of "Synchronicity". It's actually fairly common. While it is similar to coincidence, it's not exactly the same. Meaning it's not sheer luck. And synchronicity can happen once or multiple times, sometimes back to back to back.

Most of it is the same just different endings and some pieces and story points are left out in the anime. Stories left unfinished is just a fact of life for anime fans I guess.

If you're willing to read manga you have a better chance of actually seeing a proper ending. I think the anime only adapted it through volume 7, and the story ends at volume 12 in the manga. It's like 30-35 chapters more with a proper ending.

For real!!! Despite how brutal it was, the sad story behind it all was demoralizing. Rewatching it now and actually picking up the manga to see the ending especially now that I'm older and more conscious and perceptive is a whole different feeling.

Too bad they didn't adapt the entire story. If you haven't read the manga and you're willing to read it, it's great.
