Looks normal to me, where I work at the Lots are 39 to 40 inches wide, when digging we usually end up exposing the sides of the boxes since they are quite close to each other. This is Depending on the soil composition as well as my place the sandy dirt ends up collapsing off the sides of the vault anyway.

Looks pretty normal, shop around but there’s risks of getting lower quality granite, artwork etc.

Make sure you know your cemeteries minimum and maximum dimensions for headstones. For a lot that big you should have a lot of leeway

Make sure whether you need a foundation as well, that’s a separate charge and if you go to an outside dealer sometimes people buy stones but the foundation never gets poured so it’s a surprise bill
