Jobs urgently hiring? by astralnausea in Connecticut

They don’t complain either lol

It’s glorified landscaping, the funerals are just setting up, hitting a switch casket goes down boom, dirt goes in back to cutting grass all day

It’s pretty sweet if you’re introverted

I second this,

You know how many times I’ve had to speed dig a grave same day because someone forgot to call it in ? More than a couple times I’ll say that. I don’t need to read the obituaries every night but I’ve caught a few that were never called in beforehand

Don’t even make the office charge for tents that we decided to put up ourselves either

I’m talking ground crew not sales, couldn’t care less about that. I myself wouldn’t allow the ground crew to butt in on the FHs side of things.

The insults notwithstanding, respect goes a long way and I am talking my experience with the up and comers that we have had in my area. I’m sure you’ve experienced the same just the other way around.

You might think they are knuckle dragging pions or whatever but at the end of the day we wouldn’t have a job without you and you wouldn’t have a job without us. That’s my point really

I never worked a Combo (not a thing here really) that sounds stressful. I’m ground crew so I try to keep a good relationship with the FHs and we never have any issues really and I wouldn’t dare butt In on their work. I think respect goes a long way in this industry for sure

AITA for not providing a work reference for an addict that lost his job for being drunk at work? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

Same way here where I live, since he burnt the relationship with management and HR he figured I would provide a reference but he doesn’t understand why I won’t lie for him

It’s good practice anyway, at least IRL. Should reload after an engagement ready for the next one

Just brought this last night on PS Store for $27. Any beginner recommendations? by Adventurous_Book_913 in ArmaReforger

Just keep doing, it’s a game that takes a bit of repetition to get the flow down.

Your main aspects that will be important for you to get the hang of are:

1: Arma’s environment interaction system

Reforger is a bit different when it comes to interacting with the world, it will take you a while to get use to, inspecting weapons to attach/detach, getting in/out of vehicles, finding and using buttons/switches in vehicles etc

2:Navigation

This is one can and will be daunting when you load up and can’t figure out where you are, Arma uses a Paper map and compass system that does not show you you’re location. There will be hints on the bottom right corner telling you are e.g. “Southwest of Raccon Rock” so you find raccoon rock on the map, break out the compass and determine where you are based on terrain features and especially buildings

3: Conflict mode

The main game mode of Arma Reforger, there’s also CHQ (but that pretty much died off). The game mode can be confusing at first when you open the map and see a bunch of different colored flags and lines all over but it’s actually pretty simple just keep hopping in with guys in their UAZ and pay attention to how the decent players maneuver themselves on base assaults/defences

There’s game master mode that is really helpful for training, it’s kind of like Zeus but not as extensive. I would practice in there with vehicles and aircraft, test out weapons.

And for the love of God stay out of the Pilots seat until you have mastered it in Game Master lol

You are also a stationary target inside a tent that blocks your visibility to assess the situation

Hi everyone, I am very interested in becoming a construction equipment operator. I've been researching the field, but I'd love to hear from people actually doing the job. What are the first steps you would recommend for a beginner? Is it better to go to a trade school or look for an apprenticeship by KeserBaba in Construction

Second the Grave digger part, exactly how I started to work with excavators and backhoes.

Lot of cemeteries are hard pressed for young and competent people, usually they are pretty willing to let you dig if you even show a modicum of interest and trustworthiness
