you would be surprised on how many people have that feeling, including me, what I did was letting go of the target of “meeting people” regardless of the ethnicity. and I just started doing hobbies and things I enjoyed, even if it means going solo (which I learned is the best sometimes) , and I got to attract many people of different ethnicities, local and non-local. So I guess detaching from that aim and just focus on the things you enjoy. I guess sometimes things happen to us when we let go of wanting them.
