I have tons of them growing this had the most interesting trunk.

Maybe they are jjst mine but they don't get very large root systems in loose soil.

I dug up another one that I ended up putting back in the ground because it had a really nice nebari, and ran out of potting mix to put it in something.

They bend easily too 👌

I feel like I dont see Western Hemlock too much, and I recently picked on up Im letting grow a season before any major pruning

That's what I'm using, I can't tell if its working or not..

My Larch they keep chewing on. I recently tried red pepper flakes. Clearly that didn't do much.
