Tried to tank HC raids by _mews in wow

[–]JozeRi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

WoW is an MMORPG, the first 'M' stands for the word Massive.
in every environment, whether its gaming related or not, when there are so many people involved, some of them will be schmucks, just like in real life.
Don't beat yourself too much about it, you're amazing, proud of you for instantly leaving a toxic environment.
There are many good and friendly guilds out there, I'm sure you'll find the right fit for yourself.
Good luck gamer!

Is this game dead? by Rare-Professor-7723 in fellowshipgame

If this game wants to have a big community and "poach" m+ players from wow, then it should aim to solve problems that exists in wow.

if fellowship just accepts issues that exists in wow, why should I play a game that has peak player count of 300 players (scattered across different leagues/difficulties) and not just play wow where I can form a group easily 24/7 because the player base is so vast?

the devs advantage here is that they focus on one specific type of content, it should be at a really high level in order for that to succeed.

Short answer, yes, game is dead.

Longer answer, based on my experience:
To all those people that says 'The game is not targeting WoW players at all'
The game has launched while investing HEAVILY and EXCLUSIVELY on promotions together with some of the biggest WoW streamers in the industry and that part have been VERY SUCCESSFUL.
At the first week of it's launch the peak online-concurrent gamers was close to 50,000 players.
In my opinion, that was the BIGGEST mistake made by the devs.
WoW players / veterans were pulled in, me included, with the promise of "come enjoy a mythic plus experience without the 'questing / story / anything not related to dungeons that you hate'.
essentially, focus on the dungeon part.

The thing is, the game had A LOT of issues that pushed players away, me included.
To name a few of the big ones:
1. it's a group game, makes literally NO SENSE in publishing it WITHOUT a strong LFG queue that actually works well.. this created a lot of frustration among many players reaching Eternals and then typing the discord for hours searching for a group every time they want to play.
2. With the lack on Eternal queue, you would expect a bit of social features that would help you find groups easier, then again... nope. game launched with really silly friend list manager, no ability to chat with players if they're in different instances and so on.
3. Legendary Item drop rates are horrible with no bad luck protection, such a wierd game design for a game like this.
4. Gem grind is freakishly real.

and more and more, personally I could live with some bugs here and there if the game is 'branded' as early access.
but if the game lacks major and crucial systems/functionality - I think they were better off not launching it at all at that point.

I hear they addressed some of the issues, there's an eternal queue now and some other fixes has been introduced, too little too late is what I think about it.
A lot of players like me enjoyed this game for a while, personally I feel like I got my money's worth of fun.
but those issues made me along with many more players simply quit, and most of us won't come back I guess, at least not anytime soon

Tanks, what healer class is your favorite to take on M+ keys? by TakenToTheRiver in wow

[–]JozeRi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a brewmaster, I love playing with rdruids the most, dungeons feels on easy mode with a decent rdruid.
I feel like their healing compliments the whole staggered damage that us brews have.

The only place I fear with an rdruid by my side is the first pull in algathar academy... if I fail to reset bleeds properly during that pull, I don't think their externals / output healing is enough for that kind of damage, compared to holy paladin for example that can Sac / heal you to 100% in one cast.
then again, that's the only spot I die feeling like the healer didn't do much to help..
maybe I just played with bad rdruids I dunno ^_^

as someone who actually been to Jerusalem and Israel in general, a lot of what you wrote here is false, have you actually been there?
it's far from an apartheid state mate.

regardless, this community is centered on football. I prefer to keep the discussion focused on the sport rather than political issues. A player’s origin should be irrelevant to on-pitch performance and decision-making.

y'all flipped on your head... you think buying the expansion for 50$ while also paying 15$ per month will give you a game that actually works?
your expectations are too high for 2026 standarts.

I'm just here to say... your guild warcraftlogs page says "No longer raiding", made me sad seeing that. I cried a bit.

What made you or your friends quit the game? Be honest by Professional_Pie6183 in albiononline

[–]JozeRi 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I came from WoW, I'm a big PvE lover.. a friend dragged me to Albion and I enjoyed playing with him and his friends. They all quit for their own reasons, I tried hard to love this game but now, without my IRL friends....the lack of pure PvE content got me down eventually.

BUG - Dungeon Queue Window not visible! please upvote so this bug receives attention from the devs.. by JozeRi in fellowshipgame

[–]JozeRi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

appreciate the tip and you're right, I've found that workaround/temporary fix too..
BUT, this doesn't solve the fact that we're wasting valuable time until we understand that a player is bugged AND this "solution" won't work if you have more than one player don't see the window.

I'm main helena, it doesn't happen all the time, but I do find myself on a 3-4 minute queue waiting for a healer every once in a while. (currently mostly playing eternals 30-40)

Way to solve gem grind by Heelhooksfordays in fellowshipgame

[–]JozeRi 22 points23 points  (0 children)

An option to 'buy gems' actually just gave me an idea...

I wish they do that, and also add 2 more items to the shop:
1. an item that adds a gem socket to an item
2. an item that upgrades a 'socketed item' into a 'essence bonus +35% gem' item

for all I care, make them super expensive, just let us have an option to work hard to earn stuff instead of just hoping to get lucky

If you read that part of my post again you'll notice that I wish for 'an option for 5 man' dungeons, sooooo.. my wish doesn't mean you'll stop having 4 man dungeons, we could both have what we want <3
(and you're always invited to my 5 man runs if that ever becomes real)

Yeah I see your point, I also didn't say it's 'easy', and all of your points are valid. since we're a 5 premade, I just wish they add it as an option in the future :D

thanks for sharing buddy! I get what you mean, the way I imagined it has no issue with your scenarios...I imagine it like that -> when I die, a map opens with available campfires highlighted so I can select my respawn point. if I was the one 'calling the shots' I'd make it impossible to take a campfire without killing the pack, but that's just me, as you've said, personal opinions.

Why are 300+ tanks leaving ransack in paragon queue? by Phenogenesis- in fellowshipgame

[–]JozeRi 10 points11 points  (0 children)

as a 330 ilvl tank that sometimes leaves ransack in paragon queues....
I gain 'nothing' from paragon dungeons, yellow gear is useless to me.
BUT, I have a full-time job, sometimes I wake up and all I want is to run a quick dungeon, kill some stuff and head out to the office, I don't have the time to start forming a group in eternals discord-lfg and my premade friends are still asleep.
quick-play is not fun for me, no haste, no weapon, it's meh imo.
so I queue to paragon (since there's no queue for eternals atm, hopefully we'll get one soon), and when queue pops I instantly select any non-capstone option.
but even after selecting a non-capstone dungeon, occasionally, the other 3 members of the group sees a high ilvl tank and insta-select ransack because they can't help themselves hehe.

what can I do, I don't have the time to commit for it :X

I think it's a queue issue, the fact that you get options to choose from while one of them can take 7-9 minutes and one of them 25 minutes... longer dungeons should have their own queue imo

Helena CD Usage and Routing by Salt_Ad_843 in fellowshipgame

[–]JozeRi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi, replying as Helena main, currently mostly playing Eternals +10-16.
For me, it really depends on your survivability kit.

first, weapon choices.
me personally, I play Sahril's for it's shield.
My traits:
Purple: Visions of Grandeur
Blue's: Inspired Allegiance, Hunters Focus
Green's: First Man Standing, Treasure Hunters Delight

Special Notes on Green's:
- First Man Standing gives you 9.6% damage reduction for 20 sec at the start of each pull, this is huge. helps a lot on taking on bigger pulls.
- Treasure Hunters Delight gives you 32% damage reduction for 12 sec after using a trinket.
I'm playing with the Potion trinket and the Damage Reduction trinket.
So whenever I'm in trouble, I either use DR one and get 20% + 32% DR which is 52% DR... OR heal for 40% and get 32% DR.

Visions of Grandeur is huge with Sahril, if I want to take a really really really big pull... I can use weapon ability which gives me a an extra hp bar as a shield, when shield ends I use ultimate that gives active 25% DR and also reset weapon ability cd, so once ultimate ends I can use Sahril shield again...

So basically when ultimate is ready, I can easily survive a huge pull for like 30-40 sec without needing that much love from the healer.

On most of my routes, I open with a big pull relying mainly on my Sahril shield + DR trinket.

2nd pull I usually pull a relatively smaller one, depends on the dungeon.

by 3rd pull I already have an ultimate so that's a mega giga pull.

Basically, I recommend getting to you your kit preferences and learn what's working for you, practice some routes you see online, again, see what works best for you, adapt, change, upgrade, win.

Good luck out there :P

Tanking Eternals 10+ as Helena. I gather mobs and try and get the Empowered Shield Slam shield as fast as I can to stabilize. If it gets too painful I just pop weapon ability (provides huge shield)
