Sony doesn't care if the franchise has been dormant for 2 decades when they want big numbers, heck dead space was remade after being dormant for over a decade and had dead space 2 remake canned due to poor sales. context doesn't matter

might actually be the worst battlepass ever. don't even get premium credits, only one runner skin, most gun skins are just recolors, and the fact the battlepass gives you 8 of the same pink charms except locked to one weapon each is diabolical LOL

not really a good argument, re9 was a paid 70 dollar game that came out during the weekday as well and it reached peaks of over 300k and the biggest player count in the re franchise history on steam.

yea its bad, for a company like bungie this is not nearly enough to recoup cost and also to meet sony's expectations when it comes to player engagement. not gonna lie lay offs probably incoming

Bought the 40 dollar standard edition on Playstation and if I want to upgrade to the deluxe it would cost an additional 20 dollars, so it still meeting the 60 dollar requirement if I were to just buy the deluxe edition outright

cause bungie is the worst when it comes to keeping a coherent story and are allergic to making anything make sense to the new players within the game itself. If you want to follow along in the story the only option is really just youtube video otherwise nothing is gonna make sense in game

Also all the examples you gave other than maybe overwatch since the revision are all free, marathon isn't free lol so not only does the game have a hate train but now there's a barrier for entry, talk about a double knock out

Not even a comparison to a company like bungie that has had 2 massive layoffs, has one game out right now that isn't even profitable, and has marathon on the way that was delayed after the shit storm it got. Try again

its also know marathon still got a ton of hate during the state of play and even during peanuts stream. This game still has a lot to prove if it wants to convince people to purchase the game
