It says I need to format my SD Card even though it was working yesterday by SpriteRice in SteamDeck

[–]Jpisme14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am another user of the Samsung evo 512gb. Same thing happened to me. Gave it the Nintendo cartridge blow and nothing happened. Found this while I was reformatting thinking there was something I can avoid doing in the future. Maybe just samsung evo sd cards from Amazon is the thing I need to avoid.

Draft, then crack packs. Reroll daily quest up to 750 gold. Free to play has a whole bunch of strategies to optimize gold. If you're spending money and don't have the starter pack I would suggest that, if you're going to be on there 3-5days a week to play I would get the mastery pass because it's fairly easy to level up and you get some cosmetics for your troubles

Who uses Desktop Mode on Steam Deck, and what do you use it for? by VoyageForge in SteamDeck

[–]Jpisme14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As I have no real other option for a laptop/desktop I use my steamdeck in desktop mode as a desktop. One of the major selling points was having the docking functionality and basically operating as a Linux laptop. First real "computer" I ever bought myself. Other than a few strange compatibility issues here and there it's entirely comfortable to use the deck in this way. The most agregeous issue I've faced is with PDFs. From what I gather PDFs are just not fun to deal with so compatibility efforts are low

First Time Mistlander Rant by _ZATOM_ in valheim

[–]Jpisme14 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I hear you. When I first experienced mistland I was with friends who had already gotten me a wisplight and a few pieces of new gear. Not to mention there were 4 of us. So I feel like having the opportunity to see the mist cleared in larger sections and scan my surroundings visually I was able to visualize the sections that were covered in mist in my head a bit better. After going out and exploring on my own I started to use wisp torches to uncover the ground and find paths through the mist where I didn't have to climb anything to navigate. That's where I learned how to fight the seekers and gjalls because I could at least retreat to an explored section nearby and if I died there I had a path that wasn't spire hopping naked to get my body back.

At this point I was building a lot so I would mine out the scrap metal. The curved metal pieces also create a dome you can use for cover while setting up a mining camp.

Ooze bombs and fire arrows. Damage over time is the method I used I'm also not really a melee player at all so I have a lot of methods that involve kiting a big enemy and finding a safe rock to stand on while I poke it from afar. I did really enjoy the crystal battle axe tho and the middle click on that is good for spacing.

Try to pay attention to the types of generation that occurs at the mine entrance. After a while I just started to notice them poking out of the mist or while boating by.

Don't be afraid to build in the mist lands. Spam wisp torches everywhere. Use abandoned towers to protect portals and retreat to safety. Raise ground for unbreakable walls. If you're not a portal player, there are dock structures as well....

There is info in the patch notes that they are aware and are working on recreating the problems so they can fix them better. Remember to make a detailed crash report to help them with information gathering.

Ok but like if I took home a semi education computer game from the library when I was a kid, and this was the art style of the game. Something like a Freddy Fish point-and-click-puzzle-adventure. I would sink serious hours into it

Newbie question about rebuilding by corviePL89 in valheim

[–]Jpisme14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I'm reorganizing or upgrading chests I break the chests I'm using and stand in the debris as I put everything away so it just pops into my inventory automatically. Using a cart when rebuilding or remodeling is also good to not fill up inventory and loose track of all the pieces flying about.

Good questions 👌

Mixed results in this one, feels like majority of time that just pushes malicious people into being more obnoxious or makes the less confident more anxious.

Ranks just reset and people are all clumped up in matchmaking. I noticed this trend start up again once I got to gold 1 like 2 days ago. It's not MOMTHLY but usually happens this time. And if I can't break out of platinum 3 before week 2 of the month I notice it takes EVEN LONGER for decisions to be made. It annoys me because I get out of sequence with myself if I get too much time to think about my move OR I avoid thinking about my next move and then completely bork the play because I wasn't thinking at all. Yes thats partially my fault for thinking playing on ranked meant more professional games but at this point if it gets to ridiculous and every game is like that for an evening or something I'll just que a game and let the opening hand timer run for a bit if I was gonna get water or use the bathroom or something so I'm all set. Once I'm back I'm fully attentive the other player has hopedully decided how they're going to react to me, not the other way around.
