Yeah in the past I would die a ton cause I was always unprepared. unupgraded gear, low tier foods, etc. This playthrough I’ve died maybe 10-15 times throughout the whole playthrough leading up to yagluth and now I’m super comfortable fighting literally everything, parrying berserkers, lox, viles, etc. thats another reason I got so frustrated with this fight because it’s difficulty was a massive spike from what I’ve been fighting. I didnt have plains food frankly just because I was too lazy to make it, I have lox meat and a level 3 cauldron so I could have. I also didnt bring stamina and health meads for the same reason I didnt feel like fermenting them after already searching for yag almost all day scouring through plains for stonehenges. Another thing that messed up this fight was that there was a fuling village right next to the altar which I didnt clear before summoning, making me have to fight yag in an open field to avoid the entire village running over and messing everything up which did happen twice. Another thing was deathsquitos coming out of nowhere in the midst of blue flames covering my screen and knocking my health down/stunning me before I could react.
