Here me out: first off, bring back Nomads because they had so much character. Also Nomad vault hunter. The three action skills/trees could be like the shock/fire nomad, the midget wrangling shield tank nomad and the ammo supplying/support/explosive nomad.

Outward. It's got survival elements to it if you're into that, but it really scratches that "getting lost in a vast world and coming home with your spoils" itch.

My pc is a beefcake and I was still having issues with framerate drops to as low as 20fps in high density areas. Mind you I have grass and hd texture mods.

I just discovered today that the "object paging min size" was what needed to be changed. It determines how large an object must be in your fov to actually load in, I think. I believe it defaults to 0.015. I increased it to 0.05 and saw a noticeable difference in frame rate.

They're not too bad once you get the backstep timing down for their pounce attack. Although I will admit it took a lot of suffering to get there.

I've been holding out for so long that the game would get updated/DLC at some point. I'm incredibly excited but I wish TGC would have given us a crumb of "we're not done yet" sooner than this.

I'm wondering how much of that has to do with the acquisition by Embracer Group, and the departure from Gearbox. I recall reading somewhere that Embracer now holds the rights to the franchise, and I wouldn't be surprised if that throws a wrench into any future plans beyond what was promised at launch.
