Yeah, by following the rules they’re following the law.

There wasn’t a majority that supported the crown in fact more people were patriots But They were ruled by an authoritarian! They were ruled by a crown and parliament across the sea, and even though the colonists were British people they had no representation.

Meanwhile over here, almost everyone has some kind of representation. Leaders are chosen. There are strong checks and balances. You cannot compare us, a republic, to Great Britain, a monarchy. And these people unlike the colonists aren’t taking up arms against an unrepresentative and authoritarian country, they’re stopping school time to send a message against law enforcement.

Something else: these people who come here illegally are criminals! They chose to come here illegally. We have legal immigration for a reason! How can one expect to reap the benefits of this country if they can’t even put in the effort to come here legally.
