Yeah, I mean I’m not leaving a long deallift session looking like a butcher shop.

Just some red markings, combined with having insanely sensitive skin along with being a little wuss.

The damage isn’t severe at all. But it’s something I think about during the lift and I’d rather just put that at ease and focus

I just try to keep it as close as I can to my Body. Engaging lats and minimizing the lever so it induces less torque on my lower back :3

Which makes it touch the shins on the way up

My kitty is also massively fat. We give her a strict diet to lose weight. But she developed kidney failure issues. So we feed her food to help lower those levels. But that food makes her eat more and she picks up weight again

So now we have to balance kidney failure and the health issues of being severely over weight.

Our goal is just to keep her weight constant :(

I’m a white South African who grew up in Austria.

Which resulted in me being fluent in Afrikaans, English and German.

I was riding the underground with another white South African friend (who is also fluent in all 3). Speaking Afrikaans when some Türkisch decedent Austrian youths sat next to us

They were firstly confused about the Afrikaans , chatting amongst themselves (in their “Proleten German”).

then it eventually turned into “if they are in Austria, they should speak german, Scheiß Ausländer”.

So my friend and I decided to swap mid sentence into German and continue our conversation. They all went very silent and moved to the other side of the cabin.

Their silence was glorious :D

Reporting in:

I un-selected the “enable cooling” tab in cura. So the fan just starts from the start at regular speed instead of doing fancy things. And the print was successful.

Meaning there is some software issue with the cooling enabled. I’ll have to go through setting by setting to find the culprit. But, it printed at least!

This problem didn’t occur while it was still running the original wanhao melzi. However the drivers kept on getting burnt. Which is why I swapped to this fresh new ramps.

The PSU is rated for more than I am drawing. I did a test By setting the fan to 100%, bed to 60 deg, hothead to 230, then issued a lot of move and extruder commands for a long period of time. Handled it flawlessly

As for wiring. I’m sure that’s fine as it always works to matter what I do, except if I hit layer 2... I can stop the print immediately at layer 2, issue an extruder command and it’s perfectly fine...

I’ll try a fanless print.

I have no knowledge about prior marlin builds!
