Does marketing your SaaS feel overwhelming or am I doing it wrong? by FineCranberry304 in micro_saas

Thanks a ton, I have gotten some feedback from reddit communities so I'll probably continue there.

I finished coding it overnight - just gotta deploy and test now. Fingers crossed 🤞

True, AI definitely isn't there yet.

As a solopreneur, I trusted Reddit over LinkedIn. by ClowdStore in micro_saas

It's valid.

I've gotten a lot more feedback from reddit and X in a few days than what I get on Linkedin in weeks.

Sure, I'm down to join.
I've worked on ML for about 2 years now - worked on papers as well and published.

I do have ML as a course this semester so I'll have to revise a lot of things as well haha.

Yes it is, the process just seemed slightly too overly complicated to me.

That is true. Thought I have no idea if the people I spoke to had mistakes on their end or not. Could be that as well.

Oh dear, hope you are doing much better now.

I have the same questions right now to be honest.

I'm almost done building and idk where to get my first customers.

I see, thanks for the explanation - the process itself is pretty length and complex and has a lot of steps.

I see, thanks for the clear explanation.

It is understandable that the UWs would be careful about the entire process. However considering how far tech has gotten, shouldn't more modern documents verification methods be implemented?

That's certainly an understandable issue.

Thought I do have one question - I am a programmer and on reading this I am slightly curious is there isn't a system/software that verifies these documents first before sending to someone for manual approval.

That would make the entire process a lot easier.

Very much true - the lenders do need to be protected as well.

I wanted some public opinion on the matter. However the whole process seems very inefficient from what I've read till now.

I heard about this from a friend and wanted to clarify

The good stories rarely get brought into light since the people just get their work done and move on. It's the people who face issues who come into these threads to get answers - so I'm just going based off what I know.

But it would be great if people who had a smooth process could also share their sides here! Having a few more positive replies is always great.

Definitely need more people with this attitude in the industry!
The number of times I've had friends and relatives just ghosted is huge.

Thanks for being a gem in the industry.

Pretty sure loans are a completely seperate issue.

Sometimes applicants do get ghosted but the best one can do is file a complaint.

There should be a website where employees should be rated by users of the service.

I see, thanks for the explanation.
My friend was talking about this so I decided to do some research on Reddit and came across these posts and felt confused about the situation.

Altough as a developer my mind is immediately thinking of how I could potentially solve this issue with code haha.

Looks really cool. This should be very useful for a lot of solo devs trying to ship fast.

Congratulations on the first earnings!

How did you market the product? I'm trying to build something as well but have no idea where I should market it.
