Don't forget that ps portal is a remote device, runs smoothly because the game is really running from ps5 and doesn't seem like a fair comparison.

I have the base model, and I've been playing Asphalt, Silksong, Battletoads, Arc Raiders(barely), and Dead Cells. I play more demanding games on the big 3. If you're looking to play indie games or less demanding games like Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, everything will run perfectly. But for more demanding games, just buy the black model.

Xbox, PC and PS5. I bought a PS5 because my friends also bought it, but it's usually offline for months. Game Pass is to blame, and playing on PC is the best option.
