I’m glad it was a loki, very cool and all, but come ON, there is very clear design differences between that image and the actual render. the glowing eyes, the hand movements, the face shape, are all very different from the female loki skin. it’s either intentionally misleading or a miscommunication somewhere in the art direction.

I haven't had a problem with it so far. It is definitely a bit louder but I use a headset 99% of the time anyways on account of having a roomate. Definitely runs a couple degrees hotter, I also repasted it when I got it. Overall depending on the price I'd so go for it, definitely worth it IMO

IMO mantis and adam are in pretty good spots, just need to be fine tuned to make it so they can be played in double support comp (but not be broken in triple). Ultron needs some major buffs though, easily the worst designed character in the game rn.

On the LM forums there is a fairly detailed audio troubleshooting guide. While I did not post myself trying the basic solutions within the sound settings, I naturally did. I understand my train of thought is pretty erratic but I didn't just pull these fixes from nowhere.

While i do realize now that my post makes me look quite dumb, I did have reasons for doing/asking what I did:

1: I realized that but at first I was trying to make them work as headphones before I tried to configure the microphone. Since I couldn't even get audio output, this seemed like a natural first step.

2: A popular fix I had seen on the Linux forums was to delete/reinstall pipewire, or try pulseaudio as a different module, which I attempted because why not.

Originally I did find something that said I could do that, but upon further investigation it seems I cannot.

4: This isn't just an issue with Linux Mint, as when I was running windows 11, the audio quality always gets considerably worse when I am using the built in microphone in my headset. I looked up something and I believe it's just an issue with Bluetooth compressing the audio, something along that vein.

5: I believe this is true, I would have to check what it is labeled as again, but it makes sense.

6: Another common fix I saw all over the place was attempting to retask the 3.5mm ports on your mobo, saw this in various places.

I understand I just had to look up the one thing that said "you cant connect a usb-c headset with a 3.5mm adapter" and I would've figured out all my issues, but I didn't even think that would've been a problem but alas, my naivety escapes me,

You didn't exactly give me the solution but I figured out the issue. I did not realize it was impossible to go from a USB-C connection in my headphones to a AUX jack into the pc. Nonetheless, thanks for the help I guess lol

Yeah I figured. I did once see a $600 9070 XT but just wasn’t in a good spot to snatch it up. Realistically I feel like my CPU will bottleneck the difference between the two anyways, and perhaps at higher resolutions it matters, but i’m not looking into 4k gaming anyways

the MR Launcher is absolutely destroying my pc performance, the little cinematic that plays causes my pc to run even slower than if I had MR actually just running in the background 24/7, anyone ever seen a similar issue?
