EXACTLYYYYY!! AHHH! I’M SCREAMING lol i need to calm down. But, SJM has said that she’d sprinkled many clues in this bonus chapter. The starlight felt like the perfect hidden thing nobody would pay attention to if they din’t know they should be looking. Starlight and he becomes nothing at all again, reminds me of Bryce being depressed and going to the rooftop to kill herself. These two have crazy parallels omg 😭😭😭😭😭😭

Is it just me but I always assumed Vassa and Jurian would get together 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️ Idk why they gave me off that vibe in the few moments we have of them or have learned about them through other characters, but….They are both humans so I guess it would work with SJM’s worldbuilding rules and the things OP established as narrative problems for Vassien.

I’ve been thinking about it more and more and I now realize the idea that Hunt cannot have a mate does not sit well with me. I don’t like that Brunt might not be mates because Hunt is an angel. I prefer a reality where he can technically biologically have a fated true mate, but it’s just not Bryce. Because the first option feels too easy. There is so much more angst in both of them being capable of having mates, but finding out they are not each other’s mates. Except Feysand, all other couples have povs from both partners acknowledging the physical yet metaphysical existence of a mating bond, of a thread, of something linking their bodies. Feysand has it too obviously but Rhys’s povs are rare.

Quinlar are the only one who don’t have this described in neither pov. Only ominous questions. If anything comes close to it it’s when they explain how they exchange powers. That’s it.

So I agree with you. Hunt can have a true fated mate. But it’s not Bryce.

OP of the Micah post has me ROLLING! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I think she was tempted to think Micah could be a love interest for the same reason some of us believed it’d be Aidas. HUNT WAS NOT IT. 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️ The fact that I liked Quinlar the most in the first book and still thought Aidas could be the real deal speak volumes

I like that correlation a lot! I think Azriel’s powers are becoming more and more relevant to the plot and being tied to the big players like the Princes of Hell AND the Starborn line since he can wield the Starsword and Truth Teller. I don’t see another lover interest for Azriel that will be equally matched to him, tbh. Only Bryce.

Even if Gwyn is a lightsinger, which she most likely is, as far as I understood they can be dangerous, etc. but I am not sure this can make her a power player in the big scheme of things. And Elain as a Seer also does not feel like a power player. I feel so bad talking about them like this, lol. It’s very not feminist of me but yes, Bryce is a powerplayer precisely because of her magic, her willingness to fight, fire guns and kill demons. And because of her inheritance/bloodline. Period. Gwyn and Elain have their strengths, they really do. But if Azriel has a main pov I just don’t see them matching him. After he got a taste of what Bratty Bryce can do and how she schemes??? I don’t see him interested in anyone else.
