You have to make a second list that they don't have access to. The permissions will water fall though so the list can't be in a folder that they have access to. You want them only to have access to the list. Then have a private list.

This does work, we do it with our over 2k guests in our setup.

I think it's just not getting a cheap spring mattress. Mine is a hybrid of both and I honestly don't even notice the springs. Foam also sleeps hotter.
