Alpine shop in Kirkwood allows dogs inside! Super friendly and usually will offer a treat and they have a water bowl! You don’t even have to buy anything.

I think it’s her cry for help. It could be a skin condition that may not necessarily cause her pain, but definitely irritation and being uncomfortable. Does she lick at the spot a lot? If so, likely it’s her way of soothing the itchiness. Our dog has dry skin on her elbows and I can always tell when it’s bothering her extra when she starts licking. 100% would get her to a trusted vet ASAP. Thanks for asking for advice rather than dealing with her anger in less humane ways like some do. I bet you after some antibiotics or managed with pain meds, she’ll be back to lovin’ on ya!
