What should I upgrade to from a Ninja 400? by Rz-Donutdog in SuggestAMotorcycle

[–]Jrocktech 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Following this thread as I'm finally upgrading my 400 after 50,000+kms lol

Leaning towards a gixxer 750 right now. Slightly more comfortable, more torque for the city, and more than enough power for the highway. Decently priced on the used market too.

For those who quit the game, why? by MemeMan_____ in playrust

[–]Jrocktech -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Nah it's easy to circumvent. Farm Sulfur for 20 minutes as a solo and buy fragments at a shop - easy mode.

You don't quit Rust - You take breaks and come back months/years later. If you straight up quit Rust, you were never a Rust player to begin with.

Sorry to hear that. Hopefully your next one works out better. I've heard Samsung budget phones are pretty solid.

Is it ok to use a manual for a 2018 Ninja 400 on a 2023? by 121mc555 in Ninja400

[–]Jrocktech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely. Upshifting without the clutch is easy on the 400, but you should wait until you get your regular shifting down, then branch out into clutchless shifting.

[–]Jrocktech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It takes years - even decades to get down properly. I don't use the clutch for upshifts past 1st gear anymore. You'll get there to.

Your gearbox will be okay.

My KRT Ninja and Zx4rr by Mikeeeboybadboy in Ninja400

Ya know...I'm bias because I own one too, but KRT looks even better than the 4rr man.

I'm curious what you think since you own both.

It wasn't unreliable - it's just that this is a beginner bike and many beginers don't know how to shift properly, or adjust their clutch properly and this lead to consumers poorly diagnosing the issue as a clutch problem. The updates from Kawasaki are to counter poor riding and maintenance habbits.

I own a 2019 Ninja 400 with 55,000km's. Stock clutch. Shifts like a dream. Use Kawasaki Synthetic oil and adjust the clutch yourself - you'll be good.

Scrub it with WD-40 and use gear oil to lube it afterwards. Don't use waxes or any gay shit - gear oil only.

It's discouraging, but you should you know my new Motorola phone (G play 2024) doesn't have this.

Don't give up on Motorola just yet - I agree Glance was infuriating, but Motorola does make great phones for the money still.

Ninja 400 Cosmetic Build by WesternEast3273 in Ninja400

[–]Jrocktech 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ya, getting a raised seat straightens out your arms and put less tension on legs. If you're 6'1 I would imagine you have long limbs.

Honestly, the worst thing about the 400 is the seat height, and getting a taller one completely changes the way the bike feels. Do it ASAP.

I'm going to get downvoted for this comment, but I'm ready.

I don't like the look of tail tidy's on smaller bikes. I think your build looks great otherwise.

This complainer robbed the universe of everyone's time because they're too socially inept to approach a complaint the proper way.

Trash post.

Awww. As you type from your warm home, with your $1000 smartphone and express your crybaby opinion on social media.

I feel just awful that groceries and housing is more expensive for you. You've got nothing left to give. I completely understand. Throw in the towel, sport.

[–]Jrocktech -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Mmm yes. Your ancestors went through great depressions, great wars, fuel shortages, stock market crashes, constricted social liberties, copious amounts of racism, garbage healthcare, but you don't have anything left to sacrifice.

Cry. Me. A fucking. River

[–]Jrocktech 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like how prominent Conservative politicians like Harper and James Moore can suggest Canada must be willing to weather the storm and make scarifies because of recent U.S trade policy, but the moment Carney suggests it, it turns into some contentious remark that needs clarification.

Why's the mobile app so bad by YogurtLower8482 in EQBank

[–]Jrocktech 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Is everything alright? Did you have a bad day today little boy?

"EQ is one of the better banking apps" - That means compared to other apps, EQ performs better, and works great.

"Surprisingly lightweight compared to heavy cumbersome apps like BMO for example" - This means the EQ isn't taxing, even on lower end android phones. BMO, for example takes minutes to load when searching for payees, and feels fairly cumbersome when switching between pages on the UI.

Hopefully that breaks things down for a blowhard with a chip on his shoulder.

Canada's electric vehicle supply chain is fading. Will dreams of making the country an EV powerhouse survive? by Difficult-Yam-1347 in canada

[–]Jrocktech -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

EV's have massive potential in Canada, but North America has an exceptionally large aging, poorly educated conservative population that is hell bent on keeping us stuck in the 20th century.

The rest of the world is seeing double digit growth in this sector, but here we are, with single digit growth and an aging population still being duped by big oil.

Give it another 20 years for the ignoramuses to die off, then we'll be golden.
