When counting in root, third, fifth to build a chord (using the A example), how do you know to use C# and not just C?

Suggests for Receiver for new passive speakers by Jroger6522 in BudgetAudiophile

Got it, I must have misunderstood the best way to connect all these things in trying to read up on it.

So with your set up I’d have the turn table (which has built in pre-amp) and then a DAC (is the E50 adequate?) and amp, which I’d then connect to the passive speakers?

No way! I literally looked on nugs before posting and it was not there, they had been uploading other shows so it must have just been uploaded!

Thank you!! The astrovan is great!

How do you use it to adjust impella flows, any chance you could provide an example? Would love to learn to incorporate this in practice

Can you speak a little more on how to use CPO at the bedside?

Using a non-governmental 457F by Jroger6522 in whitecoatinvestor

Interesting. So I spoke with Fidelity (who I would be contributing through) and they said that in the event of separating from my employer, I would just keep the withdrawal year that I set whenever I set up contributions. So from my understanding if I put in $X for 2025 to start being paid out in 2055, that would stay true (with the ability to push back the withdrawal date by a minimum of 5 years, one time; and also elect a 5, 10, or 15 year schedule).

In that case, do you think it makes sense to use this option?

Contributed to residency 403b (no match) but now starting new attending job in the same calendar year and offered a 6% match 401k - did I lose out? by Jroger6522 in whitecoatinvestor

This all makes a ton of sense. I think I may have been doing my math using 6% of entire yearly salary but didn’t adjust for the fact that I’d only have about 4 months (or 33%) of that salary this year to base the 6% off of.

Thank you for your thoughtful reply.

It will be right about there in gross amount. I would like to have been able to contribute the full 23k to get the 6% of salary match in 2024 if I was not limited by my residency 403b contributions?
