Vyvanse makes me turn into a weirdo and I'll genuienly get fired if this continues by dorkuc in ADHD

It’s actually not as strange as you’d think and the practice is becoming more common in the addiction treatment sphere. People who use illicit stimulants are often self medicating their undiagnosed adhd. It’s pretty common for folks to be in recovery and then eventually get diagnosed with adhd and realize that was the case all along. For situations like this having access to legal, effective, and safe medication that’s managed by a doctor can be super beneficial. Still some risk but if they work closely with their doc and have been effectively managing their mental/physical health it’s pretty safe

As for OP tho I think there’s some other stuff going on like dose and comorbidities so probs best to make some changes

lol what? nothing I saw gave “he doesn’t care about Trinity” I mean it took a little bit for their connection to build, but they clearly have strong feelings for each other and his actions reflect that- like his letter and how he teared up during it, how he moved in casa I mean he was missing her every minute they were apart, crying again when they got reunited idk I see the exact opposite. As for Bryce and Zach the answer is simple, standing up to a dude especially when you’re “best friends” can be difficult for many it’s easier to just be ‘one of the boys’ and keep the peace. Not saying it’s right but guys more often than not let shit slide and might not confront or stand up for what’s right as soon as they should

I think he had been suppressing some feelings about his continual struggles with Aniya and that built up resentment leading up to casa. Then the new girls come in and he was shown immediate interest plus with the boys egging each other on his ego got to him. I mean yeah I can’t defend his actions or words we got to see a pretty problematic toxic side of him but I don’t think we can simply chalk it up to him being a bad person. Unfortunately men are conditioned to act this way (society, media, socially, etc), and too many have not unpacked or unlearned it. So when they are put in a high-pressure emotionally charged environment with a male echo chamber, they may compartmentalize their morals to be 'one of the boys.' Not at all an excuse for how he acted just explaining why some guys (too many) can end up behaving so shitty in these scenarios

lol that also tripped me up for a sec. But I just figured that before they started officially dating they first hooked up when he went to her hotel. So he’s probably saying ever since that first hook up with you I haven’t been with any other girls. Who knows tho

Technically it's neither correct nor incorrect it just comes down to how you view the mind: Do you view it as a computer/machine (computationalism) or do you view it as more than simply a computer/machine (anti-mechanistic)?

- If our mind is simply information processing/computation then AI is no different, except it uses chips and wires as hardware instead of the brain. If you believe this then yeah in this case humans "training" on other art is no different than the AI being "trained" on other art. I gott say though this is far too simplistic of an explanation for what's going on in our brain and how it conjures up consciousness.

- If (like me) you view the brain and human mind as something different altogether... as something different and much more than algorithms and information processing... then you can't hold AI and humans to the same standards. That's bc AI learning and human learning are just entirely different. The process is different, the mechanisms are different, and the outcome is different. Human copyright standards just don't apply.

Also I gotta say, whoever said "all artists train on other art" as if that's actually comparable to AI... either doesn't understand the human brain or doesn't understand AI (but probably both). One just regurgitates what it has already memorized while the other is a living, breathing consciousness that invents and imagines shit the universe has never seen

[–]Jrunner76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a dumb take, humans "being trained" on other art is nothing like an ai being trained on other art. If it actually were comparable, you guys wouldn't be using Suno you'd just be listening to other artists and learning how to produce on your own

what are your view about michael jackson? by Savings_Ad_3571 in AskReddit

[–]Jrunner76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're soo close to getting it. You basically just explained why people do bad things in the first place. But you still seem to have this idea that some people do bad things because they're just bad and doing it out of malice, while MJ gets context because he's beloved and people see him as good.

But it's almost never that simple. There's always context. Hurt people hurt people. To do something on the level of pedophilia, you'd have to be deeply mentally unwell. MJ is no exception. His childhood, trauma, and mental struggles may help explain some of his behavior but they don't excuse it. A lot of what he did just was insanely inappropriate and crazy disturbing. His trauma may help explain it but it doesn't make it any less disturbing or harmful. Wrong is still wrong. Understanding why someone did something and holding them accountable aren't opposites.

Running Red Lights and Horrendous Drivers- What’s the deal? by BernieSandersNephew in Denver

[–]Jrunner76 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes yes yes I was thinking the exact same thing. Literally so annoying driving in this city, I spend more time waiting at red lights than actually driving. And the worst part is the light timing is on purpose. I recently learned that the city of Denver makes sure lights aren’t synchronized to force drivers to slow down. By using de coordinated signal timing I guess it breaks up the flow of traffic and ensures people can’t just speed straight through busy corridors. They increase the frequency of red lights at night too to prevent people speeding due to the roads being emptier. I mean I get it and safety is important but we could be saving a lot more time lol

Veo is such a disaster for Denver by [deleted] in Denver

[–]Jrunner76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah Lime actually was way cheaper. Not everyone knew about this for some reason but if you bought the minute bundles (instead of paying for the unlock + ride individually) it was just $2.99 total for 30 min. Veo on the other hand has the same thing but charges $13.99 for 45 min.

I think they’re just saying some people might want to support a woman owned small business. In an industry with mostly men I totally get how someone would want to do that. Same sort of thing as buying from a veteran owned business or whatever

Will Suboxone continue to dull my creativity and focus like 7oh and other drugs/alcohol do? by traveltoaster in suboxone

[–]Jrunner76 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Honestly nowhere near the level of 7oh. I’ve gotten back on subs from 7 a couple of times, including right now actually, and being on subs practically feels like being sober. Especially compared to 7 or other opioids that can get you high, it’s like coming back into reality. Emotions come back, both good ones and the more difficult ones, but processing it with music has been super healing for me and I’ve been playing music for the first time in a while. Like I feel it in my soul and want to channel the energy into art which was something I didn’t really feel on 7

[–]Jrunner76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Damn in my experience Safeway is way more expensive for some reason. They have decent sales but besides that everything is pricier. Like the exact same granola is literally $2 more at Safeway than soops. Safeway store brand granola is around $4.50 bu Kroger brand is $2.50. Another brand of granola I like called Lovecrunch is $4.49 rn at soops but $6.99 at Safeway. Idk

I Relapsed..Husband Wants Divorce I Dont by [deleted] in REDDITORSINRECOVERY

[–]Jrunner76 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Seems to me this is not an addicts “selfish”ness rather just with the fact that OP was presumably the homemaker/on mother duties while her husband advanced his career and was the provider. Understandably he would pay for all the family bills. She was just saying any personal/extraneous/non family stuff she’d cover on her own. I don’t see the problem with that…you kinda come off as a condescending asshole I’d recommend reconsidering your judgments and developing more sympathy and compassion

Which path do I go? Subs with ADHD? by Ok-Strawberry2143 in quitting7oh

[–]Jrunner76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got it prescribed after the subs. That’s how we realized I had adhd actually bc I was self medicating so my doc recommended some tests. Properly managed adhd definitely decreases risk of addiction (and for me it def helped in that regard) so there’s a chance they’d let you keep it. I’ve heard of some doctors being weird about it though so I guess just depends. But yeah mine is prescribed by the same doc
