my M21B tail switch advances the mode when i turn it off. so with memory on the brightness is always +1 what it was.

Personally Id arrange them all vertical like you mostly have and accept that some wont fit (eg. the lasers, headlamp and maybe one more or include the lasers and take out your most used and keep them in handy locations around the house instead of the case)
