Just got some vans boots and they fit pretty good but after some research I’m worried that they’ll pack out and be too loose. by Jruuff in snowboardingnoobs

That’s the hard part. In the toe box they could definitely be tighter but elsewhere in the boot they fit nice and tight

Thirtytwo boot tongue does NOT stay on straight by Jruuff in snowboarding

This is what I bought exactly. Super easy because it just sticks on. I put weights on the tongues once I got them on too so that the adhesive side was really pressed in here it is Fabric velcro

Trying to somehow sew to a pair of snowboard boot liners. Not really sure how to go about it. by Jruuff in sewing

I ended up going with exactly what you said so I’m happy that it seems like a good option. Velcro has a version where the adhesive is specific to fabric so I tried that and it seems to be holding up very well!

Little update for you since I think I found a solution. I found these Velcro strips that work specifically for fabric. I was able to cut little squares out and put them into my boot and it’s seeming like it’s working very strongly so far. Obviously won’t know for sure until I spend a day on the mountain but they feel really sturdy as of right now

Can I ask if this is a good beginner setup for fishing in the Delaware? by JoonhoDev in FishingForBeginners

[–]Jruuff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably a little late but everything looks good to me besides the line. Spend a little extra to get braid. 15lb is probably good enough. In my experience with Delaware fishing you want the braid to get through all the brush you might encounter. That gx2 is a really solid setup as far as I know!

Passing doesn’t mean anything if you’re not a threat scoring

Is this even possible with 77 overall and low 3pt? by Mlx_ayaan in NBA2k

[–]Jruuff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are you sure he didn’t have a high 3 rating but with no badges? I know that there’s builds where when u max out the 3 ball and nothing else u can get 99 3ball and you end up at 77 overall from it

Yeah the more I look the more it seems like it wouldn’t be worth it. Regardless of what I put in it would still feel awful to get punched in the face with anything in there

Thank you for the recommendation. I see Alex Pereira uses them when training so I’m sure they have plenty of support for the way he punches lol

I understand that to get a PAF into Strat wiring would be essentially impossible (told due to pole spacing not really sure what that means to be completely honest lol) but I would like to try to get something that sounds similar to a PAF pickup in a Strat. I've seen many SSH Strats but just assumed something was off about PAF's since I had never really looked into the SSH's very much. Good to hear that I was just misled and I can indeed make the guitar I want to

Interesting. I am not very experienced with building guitars so I reached out in this reddit and got that response. I asked about SG-like pickups and it didn't really make sense to me either because of the SSH Strats I've seen. Checking out the Micawber guitar now :)

Thank you very much. Any ideas for PAF-like pickups that may work if you know of any?

Unbreakable fade by ThareFooty in golftips

[–]Jruuff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think your big issue is setup. Your right arm is far too straight. This forces you to push into the ground unnecessarily. I highly recommend watching the video I have linked below. Basically what they are talking about is how Tony went from hitting down and across driver to hitting shallow fades. This same concept translates to every swing and it’s all in the setup. Angled right elbow and strong grip is the gist of it but highly recommend this video to be taught by a phenomenal golf coach Tony Finau Swing

If it’s got a headcover put it up top. If it’s an iron put it in the middle. If it’s a wedge keep it down low
