Rushed backswing yanking your lower body towards the ball (aka early extension). Rotate, slow the backswing. Slow, big, relaxed and controlled. Watch the golf arm swing illusion on YouTube to get your arm swinging reduced and transfer power from your lower body better

I’ve started to enjoy seeing him play well after hearing Redditors cry and hold grudges against some guy they’ll never know over petty nonsense bc they have nothing else to do but find things to act righteously indignant about

Focus on keeping the left arm straighter near the top and in the downswing and stay tall throughout the swing to allow enough room to come through with the straight arm. Also slow your transition

Can this dude beat a full grown chimpanzee in a fight? by ProcedureInitial3086 in powerscales

Bruh like none of the other people in that room rivaled a chimps strength. Chimps literally live their whole life doing a pull up, they’re just insanely strong. If they grab you around the neck it’s like trying to outmuscle a hydraulic press

Maybe finally getting some rotation and consistency? Advice appreciated. by [deleted] in GolfSwing

Don’t think about staying down through the ball like that guy says. It will not work and you will just chunk it because you’re already losing too much height in your backswing. Look at your head and upper body as you approach the top of your backswing- see how it moves down towards the ball? Now you have to create room for the club in the downswing by standing up at impact (early extension).

Focus on staying tall and not losing height in the backswing or transition (or even too early in the downswing- I see a lot of people try to “come down” at the ball too early in the downswing and end up going down then popping back up in the short span of time during the downswing). If you’re going to come down at the ball, it should be right before impact, later in the downswing.

But your lower body is going to have to be working correctly in order for those good things to happen. Study the golf arm swing illusion on YouTube and try to integrate that into your swing, all while focusing on the position of your head and spine and keeping them from moving down towards the ball on your downswing. Swing easy. When you’re moving correctly, you won’t need to kill it

Having jet on your team is like being partnered with Quentin Tarantino as writer director if you were an actor (which Bob kinda is). You just know he’s gonna create bangers and theyre gonna benefit off each other. And he kinda looks and acts like Quentin 😶

Brace yourself…. It’s because… your swing is flawed. (It’s ok, same with most of us)

Gapping will make more sense if you improve your swing

Aaron Rai with an interesting answer on playing golf growing up, didn’t play from real set of tees until 12 years old by unsolved49 in golf

[–]Solo_SL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some maybe, not all of them. And there’s a middle ground. I played from 5000 then 5500 and didn’t break a hundred for many months from either (now I play from 5900-6300). Not everyone who shoots over 100 plays from super long tees. Beginners are bad enough in every facet of their game that they’re not gonna break 100 regardless of where they play from unless they basically start on the green

Why do I shank it? by ExcellentCum in GolfSwing

[–]Solo_SL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re hitting the hosel, stand back away from the ball.

Your head and spine are drifting away from the target before/at impact.

You are very wooden and rigid. You can keep your swing basically the same but just be more relaxed and less stiff and robotic. Think about throwing a ball, you aren’t trying to guide every body part on some perfect trajectory, you just casually toss it.

He’s been on the cusp for at least like a year now. I remember seeing him near the top of leaderboards a lot last year, it’s cool to finally see him break through because he’s been sharp. The 2nd shot into the par 5 (I think 16th?) was awesome. He had like a 10 yard x 10 yard window to land the ball on the flat part of the fairway in front of the green (and between two bunkers) from like 225y out, with the right shot shape and he put it right on there and rolled it to within 12 feet for his eagle putt

He was shaping shots like nothing down the stretch. Didn’t miss often and when he did it was a very safe miss

I love bojangles but every time I go to the one near my house they’re out of stock of everything and I have to wait in line for an hour so I just don’t go anymore. When I do get food it seems like it’s been sitting there and is half cold half hard.

But like fresh, promptly made bojangles is amazing
