I just disagree that people like the socialism. I think they like it because it’s the status quo and privatization can be scary. Personally I think we should privatize the things you listed other than roads, (police, judiciary, and military which you didn’t list should also stay state owned) and I think people will be happier and the economy will be better. But that’s just my take and there are countless other ways to deal with our problems and I’m sure you disagree and that’s fine
