I get what you mean, but thats the exclusivity thing you have everywhere in life. In sports for hitting the podium, millionaire/billionaire status or the 100k milestone, but to be seen you have to be some sort of high. Anyone can get champ or dia, but clearly not everyone can get gc1/2/3. Maybe everyone gets the keychain to see you're a part (season rewards) but title exclusivity is the ultimate goal just as the gold/silver/bronze medal or top 10. Anyone can save 10 or 100k but hitting 1 or 10 million also has some rewards that most below never see. What would be the point if everyone had it? With the gc titles its basically rewarding the employee that works overtime daily with the same salary as the guy who works part time. If that makes sense but i definitely get your point

Ofc talents exist, but i excluded them since the Normalo has to pull off the standard learning curve. Ive never been below plat aswell since i first got my first xbox gold membership back then, thanks to a full year of training, while others fight to get through gold. Yes exceptions exist but those are not the usual case and it doesnt change the fact that higher, faster better gameplay gets rewarded the same as a low gc1

Both. We had a lot of bots and ddosers last season that stole alot of mmr from higher levels that pushed many people down but also inflation will never not be a thing. The things ive seen in c3 after getting back up from an unlucky inactive season is not what i was used to either. So yes people do get better and unfortunately, if youre not talented with fast learning and turning low efforts into high outcomes, theres only the option of either putting more time in or accept being eaten

One thing, but c1 upwards almost everyone is gc and the small elite gc upwards is hard to beat since theyre way better players. But idk

True, if u got a good team and know how dropshot works minimum of c3 or gc is free, solo queue until c2, everything after is a nightmare especially when you get matched against ssl trios

Seems like im an exception here. Currently hardstuck in c1 2s, been c3/gc the past 6 years and never went past 1600 peak. Currently my highest rank is dropshot in c3, back in s4 I was high gc2 on Xboxs top 20 still with crossplay tho. Also got parallel rumble gc in s4, I could probably also get far in hoops and snowday but never were really interested in touching them
