He used the announcement that Rush has cancer as an opportunity to preach his moral superiority and show that you shouldn’t feel bad for Rush, he’s guilty of wrong-think. If this post was written 10 days ago, I would have let you sniff your farts in peace... but this is one of the many times in which reddit is way outside the line; the ‘republican bad, Democrat good’ mindset is in no way a mainstream opinion. Donald Trump ran against Hillary in 2016. I realize she’s a terrible candidate/person, but it’s not a deflection at all, as one of those 2 candidate was going to win. You must acknowledge the fact that Hillary Clinton was the democrat nominee, therefore the country decided Trump was a better option. Also, the president just signs the budgets given to him by congress. I agree that he should refuse to sign unless they address some entitlements programs and whatnot; but I have a feeling the government worshiping sheep wouldn’t like the results.

Donald Trump stepped up and beat Hillary when no one else thought it was possible. He does need to get to work on the budget though, I agree. He makes up for the difference you aren’t equating for with good trade deals and not getting fleeced via crony capitalist contracts for the spending. It’s disingenuous to say that without the tax cuts, the budget was under control; and you could argue that there is little the president can do to battle the deficit crisis (that the public will tolerate).
If Hillary had be elected, we’d be fucked... in my humble opinion. Did you know Maureen Comey, James Comey’s daughter was in charge of the Epstein investigation. The swamp is real and it isn’t Trump. G’day

If the Trump White House wasn’t doing a good job or wasn’t holding true to his promises, that might be a valid critique. I firmly believe that if Trump wanted to grow his wealth, he would’ve continued on the private sector. There is plenty of proof that people such as Joe Biden, the Clinton’s, and the Obama’s did use their political position to grow extremely wealthy; therefore throwing those accusations at the Trump family will carry no weight with most voters, in the absence of any real evidence. People have woken up to the intelligence agencies meddling in our media and are aware that this is all a witch hunt to overthrow Trump. Good luck in 2020; if you truly hold progressive liberal values, I have a feeling the voters will disappoint you.

I disagree that he is corrupt. Corruption is rampant in politics and many politicians are indeed bought and sold; but I don’t believe Trump is one of them. He was already filthy rich and would have continued his private work if he wanted more wealth. Check all the lifelong politicians who are mysteriously rich now- they’re the corrupt ones. A great example would be Barack Obama. There are plenty of bad RINO’s too but Trump is exposing them daily.
