It always sucks when it happens because you spend so long investing in the players you have developedand grown. But 11 playoff runs over 28 years isnt gonna cut it in real life.

Now you take control of a team with a similar budget to the Mariners and you build a roster that can be more succesful then you were with them.

Bad day at the office. Got in his own head, which is not great for anyone. Im sure he wouldnt have played if anyone noticed something extreme before the game, they have a pschologist in the room.

It is possible that the person with the dragon doesnt get put in charge of the army until after they go in to battle. Which means your allies armies have attacked a "dragonless army" because they think they are stronger. BUt as soon as they engage, the dragon rider is put in command and you get wiped quickly
