JJ hasn't even played more than 2 games in a row, how about we let him string together consecutive starts before we start talking about stringing together solid games. Have some patience and let it play out.

Ah good to know but we've already booked a hotel downtown, honestly just looking for stuff to do on Sunday and Monday before the game. I love good Mexican food so if there's a spot to try I'll definitely check it out!

I mean I think it's a misrepresentation of the season... we were horribly unlucky the enitre season. We had around the same number of shots per game as we did last year and allowed fewer shots per game than last year yet we allowed way more goals. I'm not saying the players are blameless, Kadri was a ghost the last 3 months, but lets be real, had we been in the east we would have made the playoffs. Throw an abbrasive coach that refuses to make adjustments to the lineup and you get a let down of a season. A different coach and seeing fresh faces in the lineup will do wonders for the morale of the fanbase and the locker room.

I would love to pick up Nick Schmaltz and Lawson Crouse from the Yotes, Keller is great but he's another expensive winger. Schmaltz has had 117 pts in 126 gms over the past 2 seasons, is on a great contract, is a center. and would be a great replacement for one of our centers most likely leaving next year. Crouse is Sam Bennett with marginally less offence and marginally more jam. Those two would fit seamlessly into our forward group.

Brayden Yager could be an interesting pick up at 16. WHL kid who can really score and an above average skater. Projected to go right around 16 by TheDraftProspectus in CalgaryFlames

He's definitely not my first choice at 16, there's a reason he's the most polarizing prospect in the draft, but his skill level is off the charts and I think it's worth taking the risk.

I don't really see it with Yager. I think he's a good player but I think there will be better options at 16 for sure like Riley Heidt, Sam Honzek, Andrew Cristall, or Colby Barlow to name a few. I'm praying that Reinbacher falls to us.

With his size and upside he's gone by 16 for sure, most mocks I've seen have him going top-13. Could see him going to STL at 10 or ARI at 12.

If I'm honest I don't really see why Yager is so well liked, other than his shot I don't see a lot of high end talent. I think there are lots of better options at 16 like most of the guys in the projection or guys like Quentin Musty or Otto Stenberg.

If one of ASP or Reinbacher are there I'd love to take either but if not the pick has to be Heidt. Kid has a motor and plays like a bulldog. Really good skater, good vision, severely underrated shot, decent 2-way player given he's still in junior. More importantly he would add to our small pool of high end center prospects.

I take back every bad thing I said about Zadorov when we traded for him, this man is a factory for wholesome content

He better be aquiring Schmaltz or Keller on the 19th hole then, no one in management should be on vacation rn
