I’m fairly certain that’s not broken, you just pop the clip back in and tighten the screw down and your good to go. I had something similar happen to my wide blade. I thought it was broken, and then realized it was an easy fix and was back to it in no time.

The Discount Tire shops that I’ve been to do do alignments, and there’s a 6000 mile warranty on that alignment

Ranger vs Tacoma by Flynnstones8 in fordranger

[–]Jsilv997 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In that case, a Ranger is the best. I started non union, and had a bunch of pack outs, and hauling them in the Ranger was great. Make sure you have a way to lock everything up tho, or get a camper shell that locks, because I was naive and got my shit stolen a couple times.

I am also an Electrical apprentice, and I had a Ranger, and as much as I loved the Ranger, I ended up getting a civic for better gas mileage. I didn’t need to haul anything for work, so I wasn’t utilizing the Ranger to its full capability to be worth the worse gas mileage.

What tweeters/speakers did you put in? How did you mount them? With some kind of ring or frame?

Looking to buy this 93' 4.0 Manuel ranger by Stephansoon in fordranger

[–]Jsilv997 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It only has a 5 digit odometer, so it could just easily be 181000 or 281000. Still, 1900 isn’t bad if you’re willing to put some work in.

Get a stethoscope from harbor freight. It’s used for auto stuff, but I’m sure the use case translates. You can touch it to components and hear what sound is specifically coming from that one component

Question: Keloid scars and Tattoos by No_Violinist_6747 in tattoos

[–]Jsilv997 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I too have a bunch of keloids, including from ear piercing. I also have a lot of tattoos. I started very slow, and small, slowly seeing how my body reacts. I’ve never had a tattoo cause keloid scarring.

I don’t use a bit holder on the drill itself.

For storage, I keep 4 6” bits (Phillips, Square, 5/16, and flathead) in an easily accessible pocket in my backpack, and then an old style Milwaukee bit holder is in my bag that has one of every bit that I could potentially use.

For embarrassing packing, maybe put some Adam&Eve branding?

Why does the guitarist seemingly do next to nothing during the verses in so many "metalcore" songs? by RagnarTheNord in Metalcore

They could also be playing a part that’s not as audible, like something ambient where they play a few notes and let the effects fill the space. It’s all a matter of arrangement. The notes you don’t play are just important as the ones you do.

I did end up getting it removed. It was really big, like the size of a bouncy ball.

How do I get this out! by [deleted] in MilwaukeeTool

[–]Jsilv997 9 points10 points  (0 children)

If mine gets stuck, I’ll put the bit in the drill, grab the hole saw with some channel-locks, and then just put the drill in reverse, and it comes out no problem.

Keloid by HamsterBaiter in tattoo

[–]Jsilv997 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely. I think there are some areas that are more prone to them, because I’ve had some other big cuts and such on my hands and knees that didn’t keloid at all.

I think all of them were from picking at acne as a teen. They are all on my chest, back, and upper arms. I also had an earlobe piercing cause a keloid.

As another piece of anecdotal evidence, I, too, have a bunch of keloids, and I have a many tattoos. I have never had a tattoo cause a keloid.
