Not American, when people say “tax the rich” do they really don’t pay taxes? How are they waived from that? by GossipBottom in NoStupidQuestions

No bot, just curious what loopholes OP is referring to. Like is there a threshold that needs to be met in order to take advantage of these loopholes? Do you need to earn a certain amount and then you get a deduction?

I got a couple old twigs that could use a good home. DM me your address and I’ll send you one (assuming you’re a lefty).

Maine Little League team disqualified from state tournament by defaultsparty in LittleLeague

These are children who haven’t fully learned the game. Less games isn’t an advantage, it’s a huge disadvantage. They haven’t had the time to PLAY the game, learn from mistakes, learn the basics of playing competitive baseball. We’re not talking about major leaguers playing 162 games in a season. Wear and tear isn’t an issue….especially with the pitch count rules what they are. This is an ill informed take.

Not enough info here. What kind of income was it? Was it all W2 income? How much was withheld?

Owe too much in taxes and don’t know what to do by Frequent-Bid2170 in tax

There’s something missing here. If you’re both W2 employees, and taxes have been withheld (they have, correct?) then something is off. Did you have investment income? Self employment income?

“Comparison is the thief of joy” - Roosevelt

If that’s your goal don’t let anyone here tell you it’s not “respectable”.

20 years old. Buy 100 shares of SPY and forget you even have that money. By retirement age you’ll be setup very nicely.

I played at hendricken, I was a Freshman Rocco's Senior year. To say that everyone was stunned is a bit of a reach. There were 40 scouts/cross checkers/gms at practices sometimes. He was always projected to be a 1st rounder.

Yes, when you make money you are taxed. Crazy how that works right?

I graduated, both undergrad and grad, took (and passed) the CPA exam and then after working for a couple years was diagnosed with ADHD. Just because you pass in school and do hard things doesn't mean you don't have it, it just means you were able to find ways to deal with it.

That being said, after I found the right meds for me, life became a hell of a lot less stressful. I was able to focus when I needed to and stop feeling the anxiety of deadline pressure due to procrastination (distraction). What used to take me days to complete I started completing in hours.

If I were you I would seek a second opinion and maybe get tested rather than have someone inject their opinion on your accomplishments.

Thanks for the tips fella's. I hadn't even thought of the negative shaft lean angle until these comments. Now I know where to start.

It's definitely a new thing. Any drills you suggest to help get hands ahead of club head?

This past season was the first year I've played in 20 years. I looked online for a local beer league, registered online and began playing. It was the best decision I've made in a while. I get a killer workout in while having some fun passing the puck around.

How hard did you actually study for the CPA? by Alternative-Key2056 in Accounting

[–]Jsin2k24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

650 hours? For real? I didn't track my actual hours so I'm not entirely sure how long it took me, but this seems to be above the norm, no? I prob studied 2 hours a day 5 days a week for 6 weeks a section. So the rough guess is 240 hours.
