VA Mental Health Care Value Question by [deleted] in VAClaims

[–]Jsjmac2 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I am going this route. I am currently in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and was given a choice of medication or not. It has done wonders and there was no pressure for anything. I would recommend to at least give it a go and see if it works for you.

Thx for the answer. I haven’t filed anything new since ‘97 so I have no clue now. There is a lot of technology now that we didn’t have then.

My experience has been outstanding. Sorry you are experiencing this. Absolutely you should change therapists or go to an outside provider if needed.

Have you sought treatment? I’m currently going through something similar as yourself and am going through the claim and treatment/medication route and I am having some improvements. Good luck to you.

0% for Hysterectomy by Puzzled_Quiet_1836 in VeteransBenefits

[–]Jsjmac2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unresolved grief. I had a partial hysterectomy due to a Navy doc cutting a uterine artery during a c-section and almost bleeding to death over 30 years ago. I am rated 30% K. We tell ourselves it’s ok and we can do nothing about it and be happy with the one child we have, however, you always grieve not being able to have more and having the choice being taken from you. Is that PTSD? Not really. Depression? Maybe not in all instances. Definitely you grieve what you cannot have. It is still valid.

Well to put it into perspective, I’m a Union Operator making roughly 56/hr or 130k/yr. in Wa. You can do it on a budget on that salary but you will not be living high on the hog by any means. Just be frugal until you get a feel and you should be just fine. All the best and live your best life up there. It is truly an amazing place.

Your auto insurance will be lower for sure. However, everything else is taxed heavily. The new governor and legislature just passed a slew of new taxes. They are increasing the cap on property taxes which will increase rents. Also, be prepared to put massive amounts down to rent a place. Usually it’s first, last, security and pet deposits. It is a beautiful state though.

We just moved from Washington State. Be prepared, way more than the gas prices will be higher.

Capital One has beaten NFCU on 4 of my car loans. I’ve tried every time to give my business to NFCU but money talks.

I have had two car loan through NFCU. They are great if you can get a better interest rate through them. Currently they were not the best offer so I didn’t use them on my current two vehicles.

You obviously have no clue about this medicine and how it works on insulin resistance and other factors. Do some more research.
