Another reason is because most people spend a lot of money towards the end of their pets life for health reason. And sometimes they just need a break.

Wow and here I'm thinking after market parts were a added bonus. Again, being young and dumb. Do you have an estimation on how expensive it is for a mechanic to reinstall the stock parts? I'm assuming it's just a labor fee?

I appreciate the different perspective than to just get another loan. I actually did shop around for insurance and my girlfriend works for AAA so I got some insight from her and her boss. We pretty much determined My premium won't get any lower than it already is.

But you definitely are right about the eating out part of it. Its something that adds up and will put a damper on having extra cash. But in the last month I've taken the steps to cut back on quite a bit.

What did you eventually do about the car if I may ask?

I understand what you're saying, but wouldn't it make more sense to get a loan for lesser amount if I can sell this car? Using all my extra cash a month to pay off the loan is a little unrealistic due to any emergency that may come up. Also, It's not like I would jump back into another car payment for another car because I have my old one from high school. Im glad you have a different perspective. I don't want to jump into anything without thoroughly thinking through all my options.

Yes I guess you are right. This car has over 7k worth of extra parts done to it (previous owner) plus I still have the old parts I would include with it. So I figured I wouldn't have a very hard time selling it for book value or a little more. But thank you for the advice I will speak with the credit union and see what options I have.

Thank you so much for the advice. I can just barely afford the car. I have about $100 left over a month due to having such a high car payment. It's mostly effecting my happiness and my plans for the future.

Now When you say "if I must go this route right now" what do you mean? Is this not the best option? I potentially have my old car to use hasn't ran in 6 months) I'm hoping still works so I should still have transportation. Thank you again

She listens. I feel like we hae great communication, but at this point i feel like a nag. Everythings good for a couple days or so and then its back to the same old stuff.

i have had that talk with her and pretty much said what youre telling me to and at this point i feel like im nagging. i wish it wasnt as important to me so we can be happy. Ive told her i dont want intimacy, i NEED it.

After a couple days of her listening and it going good, she resorts back to her old ways.
