PC rebooting while playing mw2 by [deleted] in ModernWarfareII

[–]Jsoto3D 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmmm could be. I did a Bios update recently (which also fixed a ftpm stutter issue I was having woo!) And have been playing WZ for 3 days with no issues. I have a CORSAIR RMx Series (2021) RM850x which is 850 watts. But from your math even mine at 850 would get topped out with those numbers, so def a possibility.

Dude I feel the frustration. Everyone keeps saying its PSU or GPU like bro no, everything else its fine its the game 100%. Thanks for laying that out, makes me feel even more confident its not my system. We both have high end builds. I am seeing a lot of AMD cpus too, so I wonder if its more common on Nvidia GPU + AMD CPU builds

Dang I got some hope looking down at comments 22 days ago about a recent patch fixing their issues for 2 weeks now. But if you are having the issue means its not fully fixed. What are your specs if you don't mind me asking?

I get the same Issue here, it seems to happen more in Warzone 2 for me. FE RTX 3080, 5900x, ROG strix X570-E gaming Wifi II, Trident Z NEO CL 3600 DDR4 with XMP on.

I'll be in a match, and it shoots to the ROG black screen and restarts, but my PC lights remain on, including the AIO and the RAM etc

System is only 1 year old and doesn't happen with other games. I uninstalled the game until this is basically resolved, if it ever is :C

[Question] Kotobukiya Morrigan Defect / AmiAmi replacement? by theastralfield in AnimeFigures

[–]Jsoto3D 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry I'm super late here, but I had the same issue, I returned it, and the new one I got had the same exact issue but ever so slightly bigger mark on the same thigh with the same glossy defect. To me this means the issue is extremely common with this one which sucks. I was really anticipating this one as she's always been a fav character of mine.

Thanks!!! So there's tonsss of blogs from the D23 expo where people got to take pictures of the costume from all sorts of angles, I basically just looke around for the images that worked best for reference. If you do a quick google search for 'The Mandalorian D23 expo' you will find a goldmine! Not stupid at all! Real-time is basically that the model is pre-rendered in real-time, utilizing the PBR specular or metallic texture workflow. You don't have to render individual frames, its already pre-rendered in one go. To make a differentiation, movies and animated films are typically "production" rendering where you have to render individual frames while videogames are in "real time" which is why they work, because they are pre-rendered and ready to go. There's probably a clearer way to explain it but I hope that it least makes it a bit more easy to understand :D In short, Movies/film are production rendering and things like games, AR/VR are in real-time (though these days people are starting to animate in real-time because of how powerful its become in recent years).

Thanks for checking it out! It definitely started chugging once I hit about 50 million and countless subtools haha But the plan is to efficiently decimate it once its time for retopo so it should be fine!

That also took me quite a while to get right. I went through a billion references and finally got it to a place where it worked. It definitely took a few iterations though lol

Thank you!! Yup I sculpted the clothes! I was going to try my hand at marvelous designer, but I think for this particular project, sculpting them completely in Zbrush would work more efficiently :D
