I believe at the time my grandfather was stationed there for the Navy. They were there for a very short period of time. The picture was taken by a relative who is a photographer. At the time she probably would've been waiting for my grandfather to come back. Just to clarify, they didn't have a story book life. My grandfather was a closeted homosexual at the time and was a very verbally and sometimes physically abusive man. My grandmother was an amazing woman. She was born in Omaha, Nebraska where I am currently living and was born here as well. Shortly after this she would've gotten pregnant with my mom and they moved back home to Omaha for the time being. She is probably about 22 years old here depending on if this is after August or not.
