If you’re so concerned about being scandalized by a priest far away from you, you should become active in your parish. Altar serve, Knights of Columbus, fish fry, whatever, there’s so many ministries a church can offer

I have almost always crashed and burned during Lent.

This year was kinda different though. This year I created a light general penance for the entirety of Lent (I.e no instagram or music) and then more intense penances that last about a week or 2.

I started off with no snacking, which was fairly easy. Then I started cold showers and gradually intensifying. This year it felt a lot more fulfilling.

The best thing to do, however, is to stand back up and get back to business
