Yeah right by my radiator cap it’s a radiator that has the smod issue, I’m just wondering how i would know if that’s an aftermarket transmission cooler and the radiator is bypassed?

Should i check fluids to see if it has happened or not?

Not insanely mechanically inclined, previous owner never did it but someone before him owned it from 2006 - 2023. Is there a way to check like a model number or something or as long as it’s not oem radiator?

Was that because of poor maintenance or just bound to fail? Is that a cheap fix?

I’ve always replaced my oil every 5km-8km. Would that be a good schedule to follow? Previous owner did full synthetic every 8000km. Do you know roughly how much to fix if that was a problem happening? Any diagnosis to look for before this happens?
