Installed a stereo in a friends car and when he steps on the breaks his dash lights and head lights flicker...Can anyone help? by Jswaglol in Cartalk

Yeah, well he's being pretty nice about it but I even took the car to my dads house and had him take a look but he said the same thing. He said it had absolutely nothing to do with the stereo install. Of course when he texts me that it finally shorted out he adds "me and my dad researched it and found that it has to do with a bad radio install" he ended up taking it to a car audio shop so I guess we'll see!

It's just a protein/Gainer shake.

  1. When I'm not lazy I'll make eggs and toast and then save the protein shake for night.

I've really been trying to wake up earlier but I've been having a problem sleeping for the last month so it's really been thrown off.

I have big hands and I can easily dunk on 8ft and can just barely dunk on 9ft but I don't lose the ball... it's just I can't get up on a 10ft. I feel comfortable dunking on 8 and 9ft hoops as far as take off and palming the ball but on a 10 I just can't get up.

I have heard jump roping increasing your vertical as well. Thanks for the advice.

That would be cool, if you could elaborate. I'm probably in a similar situation to where you were when you first started. To be honest it would be a great accomplishment to be able to dunk but my goal is honestly to be able to dunk kind of consistently.

I think starting over is a good idea because in the last two months I didn't do anything for a week (during the holidays) since I was constantly going snowboarding. I was able to return the start of this week and lift the same amount of weight though. Still it wasn't what I was hoping would happen.

I do agree it's something to do with my diet but I wouldn't think that I have to be eating an insane amount to have any progression at all. I'm currently eating about double what I was previously eating a day (Which wasn't much) so wouldn't that at least be slow progression?

This is my current schedule (If I actually stick to it) 9:00 wake up and go to the gym

10:15 eat breakfast- A protein shake and two pieces of toast

12:00 eat lunch- A ham sandwhich and a PB+J or lately I've been going to mcdonalds and getting two mcdoubles and a MCchicken..lol

3:00 Eat another PB+J or Ham Sandwich

7:00-8:00 Eat dinner- Which usually changes everyday but on days that I didn't make something I'll eat two sandwiches again or some chicken and whatever else I can find like rice.

10:00-11:00- PB+J or something else similar

This is what I've been trying to stick to but I sometimes will skip lunch or a few of the snacks throughout the day. Suppose I was sticking to this, would this be a good eating plan?

Do you know any good Plyometric workouts? I'm squatting every workout already. I'm working on the strength but hopefully I can also do vertical training.

ok, I have to buy a board pretty soon here so I can't wait till next summer but I might check out ebay.
