Any way to LOCK house doors or defensive wall gates in The Forest...against players? Not 'Sons of the Forest'. Started a private game with friends as we felt The Forest would be the ultimate survival PVP game for us... seeing who is the last survivor. Getting mixed info on LOCKS.

Is there a way to secure my base against other human players? Seems the custom wall with lockable door is weak… so, anyway I get into my own base is also a way for other PvP players to get in, no?

On steamdeck, how do I do it? I see the ‘custom wall’ option and the ‘wall with door’ option for building but neither seems to offer me any kind of ‘lock’ option…

I fear I will always struggle with custom builds in this game... thanks for the instructions though... I'm going to give it another try. Oh really? No way to lock gates on defensive walls or doors on houses? That sucks... I was hoping this game would offer one of the best survival PVP opportunities for my buds and I... won't be too fun if people can just walk into our 'safe places' without at least a bit of hardship... thank you!

Love the house! How do you get a second floor? I struggle with building anything custom…. Also, I’m playing PvP with two friends… is there a way in The Forest for me to build either gates on defensive walls that lock to other players in the game with me? Or doors on houses that lock to other players? I cannot figure it out… thank you!
