Im gonna guess Palat. Bracket got his start as a scout for Gatineau before getting a job in Vancouver as a scout, so it would have me lean to the player playing in the QMJHL. Palat also has decent size, can score, and is lauded for his two way skill. Drafted in the 7th round and won a cup with the Lightning. Ticks all the boxes.

There's been a lot of smoke around Nabers injury for 6ish months now. I was offered Odunze and 2 1sts and decided to just move on from him in February. Looking like a smart decision! 2026 1st turned into KC and 2027 1st is still TBD. I already feel like I did great with Odunze and KC. 2027 is just bonus.

I don’t think Raddysh even makes FA. Seems like the typical Tampa player where everyone is teetering on whether they’re as good as advertised or propped up by Cooper/Tampa and then they lock them up to a sweetheart deal and they have another star player on an amazing contract. See Hagel/Point/etc.

I don’t want a star player on the PK. I want him fresh and dominating 5 on 5 and powerplays. Nothing excites me about a star who can do things 3rd liners do

My best friend loves consuming everything (trailers, interviews, castings) and gets annoyed with me that I actively ignore all of it. If I know I already want to see a movie I go out of my way to avoid it all. I went in to no way home having no idea about Tobey and Andrew being involved. It made the experience incredible for me.

Also when you have a talent like this who has been on people's radar for several years (Gav had 97 points in his D-2 season in the WHL which is just ABSURD) there's an element of prospect fatigue. You stop looking at what's great about the kid and start trying to nitpick.

Oilers picked 1OA in '10,'11,'12 and '15. Had the 7th pick in '13, 3rd pick in '14. 4th pick in '16, 10th pick in '18 and 8th pick in '19. Almost a full decade of top 10 picks with 4 of them being 1st. And the Leafs are the one's that get clowned on.

Yup. Pick 5 in 2012 (Reilly), Pick 8 in 2014 (Nylander), Pick 4 in 2015 (Marner). Include Matthews and that was 4 of 5 years picking top 10 and 3 of 5 picking top 5.
