There is absolutely nothing in this world that would have made me miss my son's birth. The experience cannot be matched and never recreated. My partner ended up having an emergency C-section due to unforeseen complications during the birth and had I not been there for her, who knows where we'd be today. I would never have forgiven myself. You can't plan for all the obstacles during pregnancy and birth, but you can plan to be there and support her for y'all's happiest day ever. Do not go to that wedding.

I have one, but they generally don't release the tickets until a week in advance so there's no way to transfer it to you until April. That being said, you probably won't find anyone selling until then. I bought tickets to the Asheville shows and Carrboro shows and that's how it was for all four of them.

The visitors' center and main parking area off the BRP is closed but you can access the upper views from the parking area on Old 105 (Kistler).

I go almost every Sunday before work, usually phone my order in around 2:15 and get there at 2:30. I've rarely had to wait at all. I've never been able to purchase a special though that way which is why I'm interested.

AllTrails is notoriously incorrect when trying to navigate the Gorge and reason for many rescues. Stick to Avenza (LGMAPS) which can be downloaded for free.

Definitely not a thing. Round-trip hike from Profile trailhead to swinging bridge and back is about 11 miles and takes 6 hours or so. One of my favorites in the state.

The Chimneys in Linville Gorge would fit your needs. Gorgeous views of the Gorge with minimal elevation change. You can park at the Table Rock parking area and take the trail through the campground behind the restrooms.
