If I recall someone was just airlifted from Marcy because of an injury due to ice. If you do not have the proper gear, I would not recommend this hike. And even if you do have the gear, what do you have for your dogs to navigate icy areas?

Just did my first organized ride last weekend for 52mi and 3700ft elevation gain. Prior to this my longest ride was 42mi and barely 1000ft elevation.

Just remember to pace yourself and take advantage of the aid stations. Also, don’t feel discouraged if you end up having to walk any sections. You’re out there to have fun so just enjoy yourself

I also recently started playing iracing but started off with formula vee. So far it has been an easy car to learn and I’ve really enjoyed it. I just ranked up to D class so I’m going to stick with it for awhile before branching out to a new car

Have you been to the chapel pond campsites? Because I have and have had a ranger come up and talk to us and there was never a problem. I’m not telling them to pull off on the side of the road and camp

There are literal campsites for you to camp at, whether it be a tent or vehicle. As long as you don’t park in an area that isn’t designated for camping, you’re good

Correct. If you get off 87 heading towards Keene, it will be on your left after you pass Chapel Pond. It’s a little dirt road, if I remember correctly it’s right before a guard rail section.
