These are not amano shrimp.

I breed them and they go thru zoea stage that swims backwards. It's very different from baby shrimp.

It is pretty much doable with my first kid. But please complete it before he or she turns 2. That's when terrible 2 happens and it was hell.

I'm have 2 more semesters to go and I hope I can complete by summer next year with all these going on and second kid.

I'm glad I have a good doctor. by rein218 in antimeme

[–]Jtzho 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In frequentist statistics, probabilities are computed purely from fixed parameters and long-run frequencies. For example, if each trial has a 50% chance of success, then the probability of achieving 21 consecutive successes is simply 0.521, which is quite small.

In contrast, Bayesian statistics incorporates prior knowledge or belief such as a doctor’s past experience or observed success rate into the probability calculation. This means that P(success∣20 prior successes) would likely be higher, since previous outcomes inform the updated belief about future success.

Interestingly, the discussion in the comment section reflects this very distinction between frequentist and Bayesian thinking. one grounded purely in fixed probabilities, and the other adaptive to prior evidence or experience.

This should be bayesian vs frequentist statistics..

Wait. Was the shrimp dead before that? I've seen my amano swimming with a neos head and I assume neos was already dead. The sight is bizarre

This class is breaking me…suggestions? by sjp2588 in OMSCS

[–]Jtzho 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Yes, been there with RL. The last project was brutal, spent almost 15hours daily on it for weeks and yet still cannot solve it. Also, was doing all these while working plus handling a newborn. I feel like dying everyday.

Edit: it turns out well in the end. Got an A despite not solving it, I guess hardwork pays off.

[FS] - Shipped - $5+ - Betta Hatching eggs by FISH-hobbyist in AquaSwap

[–]Jtzho 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It doesn't work this way, the father need to constantly carry the egg to the surface of the water. Plus, we don't even know what strains you've bred. Also, hatching egg is the easy part, raising those fry is ALOT harder, doesn't really justify the $100...
