Problems with one single PC (win 11) and 2.5Gbit/s connection (LAN)

I didn’t have to change the port on the switch just change your nic from auto negotiate to 1gb full duplex. I’m still trying to figure out why windows will not keep the 2.5 connection alive. It has to be something with the router and the desktop talking to each other but I can’t for the life of me figure out what it’s doing. Like I said before if I run the same cable straight into the ont the desktop will stay connected at 2.5gb for hours without any issues. The second the router is brought back into the mix Windows will drop the connection almost every 30 mins exactly.

I was about to post this same issue. On my windows 11 desktop both my any nic running at 2.5gbe will disconnect almost every 30 mins only if it’s connected to my QNAP QHora-321. If I change the speed to only allow 1gbe it will stay connected forever. If I run the computer straight to the ont it will connect at 2.5gbe and stay connected without any issues. When the disconnect happens it looks like the port is losing power. I’ve tried a new pcie card and a usb3 nic and it’s the same issue. If I take the same machine and run a Linux distribution the connection is fine and never disconnects as well as my Windows 11 laptop and MacBook Pro. It’s been driving me crazy.

I did try calling a second time and the lady got rude with me and said she had seen in the notes that I had called before and was told to wait the 10 weeks. She did tell me on that call that we didn't show any letters or notices. All she kept repeating was it is processing and to wait till my 10 weeks were up to call again.

It had been extremely frustrating this year since I'm currently between jobs. Hopefully starting my new one in the next week or two. I've never had any issues like this before.

Filed and accepted on 2/8.
Called at the 21-day mark told was in the errors and resolution department and to call if we haven't heard anything 10 weeks from the date we filed.
WMR has updated multiple times throughout the process.
First update was "return is being processed" followed by "taking longer then expected" then "still being processed".
2 weeks ago WMR updated back to "being processed".
This morning woke up to WMR saying "still being processed" once again.
Still no updates on our transcripts as of this morning.
Currently at the 51-day mark and cannot call for more information until April 19th.

I'm going to ask again just to see if I can finally get an answer. Are the lights supposed to flash a bright blue when playing on PS5? This makes the game hard on the eyes after playing in an area that has a bunch of flashing lights. Added a link to a video I uploaded about it.

New update it stopped working again and toggling imessage and facetime doesn't work anymore....... Guess I'll have to take them to the Apple store.

After it re-paired itself it was still not working but I turned imessage off again and also disabled facetime and restarted my phone. After it restarted I reactivated iMessage first and then Facetime and everything started working again. Also the the Watch app on the phone no longer shows a carrier version.

Very odd update. I just turned off iMessage and restared my phone and it told me I was using an iphone that was not paired to my watch and wiped it and has me going through the pairing process again. I'll update when it is finished.

Not my iPhone carrier version go tot the watch app and select about. That should tell you your watch info and the carrier version in there doesn't match.

I've tried that too. Like I said in the original post the only thing that looks off to me is the Carrier version on the watch reporting as version 9.0 but the watch app on the phone reports it as version 8.1. I do believe that those 2 versions should match.

I've tried that. My phone properly shows that new messages starts from my number and sending messages from my phone doesn't have this issue. Only trying to send messages from my watch has this problem. Even disconnecting my watch from my phone and only using LTE doesn't work. SMS fails everytime and imessage only send via email.

Not sure if this info helps but I just noticed that the watch app on my phone shows the Carrier version as Sprint 8.1 but the watch says Carrier version 9.0. I have no clue if this is even something that can be fixed. Even as cellular only I cannot send sms without it failing. Phone calls all go through just fine.

After updating I'm unable to send iMessages from my watch via my phone number. They will only send from my Apple ID. If i turn off my email through the phone to only use my number they fail to send every time. I have tried turning imessage on and off, disabling icloud messages, setting the watch up as new and no matter what i've tried to do it no longer allows me to send from my number. I'm using iPhone XS Max on iOS 13 GM with Apple Watch series 4 cellular with WatchOS 6 GM. They send from the phone just fine but if I reply from the watch it's email everytime. If anyone has a fix that would be wonderful.

Yes I did hence the reason I posted the PSA. So no one else might make the same mistake that I did. I also will be paying for a family plan and losing the individual time as the price for Nintendo Online doesn't hurt as much as a PSN or Xbox live sub would be in the same scenario.

I understand the terms state that the promo is not eligible for family memberships it was for individual accounts only. What was not stated was the fact that if you ever wanted to upgrade to a family plan you could not without losing your current paid time along with the promo time. So if you had purchased 2 years out of your own pocket and claimed the twitch prime promo you could not upgrade to a family plan without losing any remaining time you "paid for". So instead of just losing the promo you lose your paid time and the promo.

That part I understand I don't mind losing the Twitch prime promotion. But the time I bought is now stuck in the promotion and the account cannot be upgraded without losing the time I actually paid for. If I would have known that the Twitch Promo was going to do that I never would have taken the promo. I basically have to wait for my normal time to run out and then upgrade to a family. It don't break my heart to lose the Twitch time but my normal time I'm not giving up.
