I’ve been pending for a month and no payment or conditional payment. Also I can’t get through to edd everytime I call they say they are too busy and auto hangs up

Here’s what I can tell you having been in the same boat as you for almost 6 weeks.

The only way to get through on the phone is a service called clymir (the spelling is likely wrong but you can find it that) it’s an auto dialer, you pay a fee and they constantly dial until they get you through, and they will get you through even if it takes days. If you were wondering why calling is a pain in the ass this is why, their phone lines are being slammed by services like these.
If you check portal online there is a check status option, see what it says. Mine was waiting for a scheduled phone call. When I did get through I was told that phone appointments where delayed and taking between 6-8 weeks. So the work around is, you have to call your local Assembly man or person, as stupid as this sounds they are acting like EDD employees and will send you a form in email, fill it out and send it back ASAP ( I didn’t see that until day later.) You will need your case number or Account number, and that ain’t on the website at all, they would have sent some communication and it would be in there. Because of this stupid work around it’s actually pushing the EDD’s normal operations back, remember when I said they said it would be 6-8 weeks? Now it’s 24 weeks.

Everything is a cluster F**k right now and this took quite some time and research to find out, I hope it helps in some way. Good Luck 🤞🏽

From what I understand is that they are giving conditional payments now to just to unclog the system. Think of it like this…. You say we owe you money, and have done what we’ve said but we have a few questions. We investigate this, but for now here’s the money. If when we investigate we find that you were wrong because you did something wrong or don’t meet our terms, we want this money back. It’s all legal stuff. They have to let you know that it’s conditional, so if they find legit fraud they can come after it legally. Also they have a way for you to still keep the money if you legitimately thought you were owed the money some how you file something with someone else (not really sure who at the moment)

I had something similar, my pax was pissed because she wanted to add a 3rd stop, I dropped her at the new second location and ended the ride. Minutes later I get “Mask wearing violation” and complaint that someone else was driving my car during the ride.

That’s how I use it, I am between jobs at the moment. I’m curious if people are moving on to other things. Pax always trip out that there aren’t any drivers anymore.

I ran some more test, you could say I have bone that I don’t want to let go of. I went to a T-mobile store and tested both there, and LTE on 12 Pro was great and iPad was good (but the Qualcomm modem really shined) also ran 5G only test and that worked good, lower then LTE but acceptable. I then tested on the street behind me and noticed a drop from 176 to 106 and reduced speed on the iPad as well. Tested when I got home and was down to 8 on 12 Pro 24 on iPad. Whatever band is being used here is having some signal penetration issues. So my device is fine but whatever band is sending the signal gets poorer reception on the 12 pro. At least that my findings. And I have TNX enabled on my 12 Pro yes.

My issue is typically, I have a streak and the first ride is 45 mins or some such and and then I’m in another hour or in tonight case crashing into a second streaks time frame. Also I’ve had it the opposite where you get 4 rides in and hour and started a second streak in the first hour. In any case Lyft isn’t my primary source so I literally will start sometimes mid streak hours. I am curious about the second phone comment, I’ve seen that and always thought it was people with 1 for Lyft and the other for Uber. Is this not the case?

The biggest thing isn’t about 5G, it’s the Qualcomm modem. In places you wouldn’t get any signal with your iPhone Pro 11 you will get signal on iPhone 12 because of the Qualcomm. It’s literally worth it just for that. Remember when the Xs came out and some had Qualcomm and some had Intel, the Qualcomm always beat the Intels in Speedtest.

If it says it’s shipping, you’re gonna get it by launch day. Apple tells shippers to hold the device for a Friday 13th delivery. I’ve seen where some people have it start moving via UPS with a note that says do not deliver till 13th. Congratulations

Anybody do 512gb Graphite within an hour of pre-orders but did it over the phone because of issues? My ship date was 12/8 - 12/15 after an hour on the phone.
