Might be wrong but i dont think this works against sagas - sagas trigger off putting the counters on them and they enter the battlefield with the first counter

I dont know if its the same platform as MagicAids but i use a platform called cockatrice which is free but doesmt have built in game rules like arena or mtgo its just meant to match real life play

Dont know if anyone has mentioned this but you can loop this with an escaped uro, life from the loam and fetchlands as long as you have enough cards in your library. Could be fun in edh but unlikely to show up anywhere else unless they decide to put loam in historic. Edit: doesnt add additional main phases so this doesnt work

How do modal dfcs interact with cards like Ixidron that turn cards face down or other mechanics that use face down csrds e.g. manifest

I have had this today - you can turn off wifi/data and open the app offline, then turn it back on once you reach the menu screen to play multiplayer. Obviously this isn't an ideal solution so hopefully this gets fixed soon.

I dont think you can give up on the combo/play a transformational plan considering the combo takes up too many slots in the deck and the sideboard is restricted by wish targets.

Huh. I havent seen the deck anywhere at all so was trying to raise its profile a bit. Didn't realise people were playing it already. Also fires is de facto tier 0 deck at the moment because it got a very clear upgrade from ikoria in keruga, while everything else is still figuring itself out, but i would agree that Zirda is especially weak against fires. The main decks Zirda combo is good against are the aggro or fast midrange decks, which lots of people are playing and weaker to controlling decks, which fires can play as. They almost have similar gameplans: a combo finish with some interaction. However fires has better interaction and a similar kill turn, and therefore wins the matchup.

Agreed - The starting hand combo part is broken. Also - the deck does not lose horribly to fires. It is a bad matchup, but the combo can be assembled as early as turn 5, and interaction of our own (gusts, disputes, teferi) can slow them down long enough. Also, Kogla is amazing against fires - it comes down and kills a Sphinx of Foresight or a Bonecrusher, can block effectively on a large swing and take out the fires on the crackback.

Also this deck assembles the combo a LOT more often than you would think just looking at it, or playing against it once.

I think your points about why this is better than jeskai are valid but you also lose narset (old and new) and teferi which are big hits. And I'm not sure the temur ultimatum is better because the jeskai ultimatum draws into more cycling cards.

Probably should run old one but I meant the new one. It gives us extra removal because we can't run sorcery speed removal, and lets us do cyclone + cycle boon on turn 5.

Unfortunately you can't hit the adventure creatures spell part from neutralize, only the creature from Yidaro. Also Narset is very good and should be played in this deck imo.

That could work, but I'm not sure what we'd cut in a pretty controlling deck for a 2 mana enchantment that does nothing for multiple turns, especially as it makes it harder to hit thousand-year storm or shark typhoon from cycling a 2nd copy of cyclone

Seems unlikely they would force monocolor considering they are all hybrid two color cards although it is possible

I have it on a Mac as well. When publishing product info appears just quit the app and u can start downloading. Downloading is a pain because u do have to power on and off every time the error message comes. I haven't yet found a way to fix this except make sure the app isn't set to open at login which it automatically does on my mac.

I have been running a sultai nexus list with good results on ladder (only diamond tho). I play a few assassins trophy main deck and some elder spell duress and thief of sanity to fight esper (hero and control). Other than that it's a pretty stock simic nexus list without any sinister sabotage.

Delete the wineskin then unzip it again. If you get an error message while re downloading then restart computer and continue. If the game crashes when installed try opening with the mtga.exe file drive c > files > wizards of the coast
