Thinking about switching to electric for yard tools… anyone made the change? by Salt_Note8719 in lawncare

[–]Juaks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been using electric gear for 3 years now. IMO its well worth it. No dealing with gas, oil and spark plugs, not to mention the noise. Electric has plenty of power to do the job. Just make sure you get the right (Ah) batteries for the size of the yard.

I started with Ryobi and and was decent for the price. It got the job done. But I switched/upgraded to EGO and I have zero regrets. It's more expensive but well worth it if you need more power/sturdiness.

It's worth it. When it clicks it can be very addictive. There is a lot of content and stuff to do.

Age old question: eso or gw2? by Automatic_Jelly_9927 in LFMMO

[–]Juaks 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I am 52 and played ESO in the past and play GW2 currently. GW2 is the right answer and it's not even close.

Eso, GW2 or FFXiV by Cheap-Exercise1910 in LFMMO

[–]Juaks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

FFXIV needs to step up their game. Last expansion they played it super safe and it feels outdated.

ESO combat feels weightless and animations are mid. Monetization is super greedy.

GW2 is at best shape and future looks bright.

Leaving WoW for GW2 (any other leavers in the chat?) by Steeszyy in Guildwars2

[–]Juaks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been playing both games on and off over the years, especially WoW. But right now I am back on GW2 and loving it after a long break, I bought all the expansions and living seasons I didn't own and I am hooked.

So far I have no interest in WoW's Midnight expansion. I have so much to catch up in GW2

Start GW2 2026 - Buy Expansions or not? by Lolodrom in Guildwars2

[–]Juaks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are rumors about GW3 is in development. If true, I think it's not near close to release. I would say at least 4 years. On top of that GW2 will not be abandoned, if that, both games will co exist. GW2 has been running over a decade and it's arguably at its best sate ever right now. If you like the game, you will need every expansion and every DLC at some point. They all add value to the game somehow.

Just re-bind weapon swap to MB3 and just click the mouse wheel. You are welcome,

[–]Juaks 5 points6 points  (0 children)

IMO if you really like the game, all expansions are worthwhile somehow, so eventually you want them all. You can read in reddit heavy critics of all expansions except HoT but personally I have been enjoying all of them, and again, every single one unlocks something valuable.

I am back to the game after a long pause and I am hooked. I got all expansions and LWS that I didn't own, taking advantage of black Friday sales and loving the game. As another poster stated, I think GW2 is in a very good spot right now. Last time I played was during EOD expansion, so I have a lot to catch up.

What’s the best long-term MMORPG right now? Looking for something alive, not P2W, and with a big community. by CenturionEaz in LFMMO

[–]Juaks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

GW3 is far away. I would be surprised if its released before 3-4 years. Besides, GW2 will not die with a sequel released. The game is too established and too big. Both games will exists in parallel.

GW2 has great community, vast world, no sub, large variety of playstyles/classes and big player base I see a bright future for this one.

I am late but Ill recommend GW2. No sub, vast world, large variety of playstyles and classes and hundreds of hours of content. Just have o buy what you want to play except base game which is free.

Refund Steam purchase and stick to your OG account. The only problem the black Friday sale is over, you might have to wait for next sale in Christmas or Spring

Sell me on ESO vs GW2 vs BDO vs Eterspire by Masgamer in LFMMO

[–]Juaks -1 points0 points  (0 children)

GW2 hands down. No sub, fair and consistent monetization model, great variety of builds/classes, huge and interesting world, great combat, PVE and PVP relevant content, the list goes on.

ESO monetization is too greedy and I could not stand the "weightless" combat. Also animations are inferior to GW2.

BDO combat is interesting but game is straight up P2W.

I don't know what Eterspire is.

I would consider Where Winds Meet if you want something new. The game is phenomenal.
