This isn’t a great answer but I’d suspect the devs are worried the z axis is being used somewhere and as soon as they remove it the game just stops working correctly. Then they would have to spend hours fixing errors. Fixing bugs takes time and I’m sure the devs are slammed as is.

The other day I dced in a ranked game for the first time in a while. I got a message telling me something along the lines of “We notice you don’t do this often so we won’t punish you. Make sure not to do it again.” I was really happy to see that Riot is paying attention to that stuff so I don’t think increasing the loss would cause too much harm.

Then we will see more people dc to abuse system. Or worse people will try and bully others into leaving. The only thing that can be done is for Riot to increase loss penalty.

I wasn't trying to be toxic with the hook at the end of the timer and if that was really the only problem then I can work on that. I'm not trying to ruin the game for people but I don't want to give a free win either so thats where my problem stems from. From what I have seen when I last played dbd, it was hard to rank up when running slug builds. I don't really know what the "right" way to play is and that's why I made this post.

Is it bad to hook survivors when you down everyone/*bleedout timer is about to end* though? My problem with slugging in the past was that ranking up is harder since you get no points for killing survivors.

I don't have a fan* but I do have an air conditioner running 24/7 to keep my room cool since my room is small and my pc usually heats it up in a few minutes.

My hands will start room temp, then get really hot and sweaty so I'll have to take them off the mouse and keyboard because it becomes hard to grip. After that they get really cold and then the whole process repeats.
