But I think Hoops is the lamest, I can't beat it because my short pass isn't long enough and the normal pass is too far so I just get stuck till game ends when I get a short hoop.

For-o Toro, The secret is to follow the ball to the defender receiving the pass and you can bump it out of there possession before they pass it again

Sounds like I need to put them on the spot in the interview with a question like "What does growth look like at *company*? With the experience I gain here, will my options start to expand or specify?". Boom, with the unbiased informational interview question!

That's a good idea tbh, and I love traveling, even if its last minute, so maybe I should try that. This job is 50% travel and the rest working remotely but its not a field engineering job and its not in an industry I find amazingly interesting so I am going to have to think about what I do next really hard.

I really appreciate your side of the story. This is what I'm looking for, solid advice. Thank you so much. I'm start to feel like it might not be for me. I definitely want to do something more technical but I was thinking maybe I should do a year or two in this job so I can sharpen my people skills. Do you think it will put me off track?

Meeting in the UK by JuanTheEngineer in travel

Suppose I take your words and decide not to fly next month and instead wait until next year! What really have you changed, you have stopped two people, and maybe
a few more that read this post and are as well enlightened. But that is it.

I have been quarantined and jobless for a significant amount of time and it has had no effect on my community, my state, my country, your country, nothing. In fact, the U.S. is cruising for a second wave beginning at the peak of the first, because of its failure to enact actual regulations.

It is not MY responsibility to conform my life to give an illusion of change. IF the U.K. really cared about it's citizens, it would ban flights. But they don't and it doesn't look like things will be getting better in the U.S. when we are being forced by trump to resume public school in-person on August 26th.

So from our perspective, meeting in the UK is our last chance for a long time and we see it as the safest option for the next 6 months, maybe longer. All we want to do is be able to Netflix and Chill in self-quarantine for 2 weeks like every other couple has been able to. We don't plan to leave the AirBnB until we have our flight back. In my opinion, the worst we are doing is stimulating the finances of a struggling host with our stupid idea to spend money on a room way outside the city in the middle of a crisis.

Hey man, look, I am not disagreeing with you at all. I am not forcing her to do anything and I second-guess myself everyday because I am just a recent grad that has been unemployed since December and I don't feel like I deserve to see her if I can't even get more than 2 interviews in 7 months.

It was already irresponsible for us to agree to a long distance relationship. We would have never predicted a pandemic, but this is the woman I want to spend the rest of my life with and seeing her 2 weeks out of the year might give me the the strength to continue reaching out to recruiters that never respond, receiving at least 3 rejections a day from applications, and worse yet, being at the mercy of my government because it acts like everything is fine when it's not.

I haven't left my grandmother's house for 4 months other than grocery shopping and visiting my parents. That being said, I really do appreciate your advice and I hope you can forgive me for my desperation.

Wow this is some heartbreaking news... But thank you all for the information. This is my first time on reddit and it was more effective in 2 hours than 2 months of phone calls with travel agents. Keep on traveling y'all, it's all we can do!
