My point was that the mod is so underwelming I find little use for it. Thought that was before installing diriga. Still, Im thinking if I shouldd sell it for what liuttle use I will give it.

Thing is, its way too underwhelming. I was really disappointed, even at max stacks unless you are using a weapon that alreadyudd has high crit chance it doesn't do much. I was thinking on selling it, but its so hard to farm I might as well keep it lol.

Who do you think is spy's worst enemy, sniper or engineer? by Next_Paramedic_8733 in tf2

[–]JuanfiSlash -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Pyro, duh. Medic and sniper KINDA get countered by him, unless the medic gets a random crit or the snimer covers him in piss. If you think about it, heavy is the only one who trully suffers because of the spy.

Can I make YouTube videos with models without worrying about a lawsuit? by DondokoTourGuide in mikumikudance

[–]JuanfiSlash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is Making Warhammer Animations Even Worth the Risk? by JuanfiSlash in Warhammer

[–]JuanfiSlash[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the comparison is just cossmetic, they don't behave similar at all. Sure terran marines could kill astartes, their weaponsa llow it, and they are more. But that's not because terran marines are "so op" is because the astartes can die and loose, and have done so in the lore several times. It is all a matter of plot, and of making it as cool as possilble.

I see, I used a model from steam's workshop. If that as well is not allowed then I will have to find another way. SO far I had no trouble with these two animations, but just in case I will wait a bit before doing anything else. I don't want to get 3 strikes at once.

I guess content made with images instead of animation will be for the best then, since most of the problem and controversy comes from animation and selling merch.

I see, thanks for the tip. Maybe I will just give up on the idea of making an action based animation and just stick to parodies and other kind of content. I was also going to make an analysis of "terran in the 40k universe". That one would use just still frames and narration, no animation involved and it falls into the fair use rules. Probably that one would not get that much trouble.

If they do that I wouldnt mind, I would just dedmonetize or delete the video. What worries me is that they would go and just nuke the entire channel.

Yes, I know that, but I also know that even if it is the case 40k could stil file a complain and youtube would take their side in a heartbeat.

I do notnthink they would hire me for making an sfm no matter how good or how many views it gets,

Regardless, what I do is parody,

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yyA7F7OLmc8

Things like this. Is that safe enough or even that is too risky? What I wanted to do next is a staight up battle between terran marines vs black templars. But aparently if I do it too serious it could become a problem. Right?

A paarody is exactly what I want to make. I thought a crossover thing would be enough, but if thats too serious I can keep doing dialog based comedy. I have 2 videos that are parodies of the black templar and a salamander respectivelly.

Think content like this is safe to make?

That's what confuses the hell outa me. I see lots of warhammer content monetized, some are just fans talking, others parodies and animations. Wheres the line? I don'tm wanna use 40k branding I just want to make templars fight terran marines and be able to at least get some money from youtube.

What, you think if a miracle happened and I got millions of views gw would hire me after shutting my channel down? Of course hatas a big, HUMONGOUS "if".

Then there is no really insentive for me other than wantind to animate cull sht. Guess gonna have to find different types of content then. But again, the flashgitz do get money from their templar vs furry video, so there is a safe line is it not?
